Why did I get ducks?

The wild one(s) are back.

I went upstairs a few minutes ago to check out the chicks and ducks I got yesterday at TSC, as I was walking by the front door I noticed this little guy out in the pond.

(Sorry for the quality, I didn't want to spook him)

He looks like the male of the mating pair that showed up here last year. They had a nest and hatched several ducklings, but he was gone early in the summer while the mother moved the babies across the street to a larger beaver pond.

I'm not sure if they ever got back together or not, but he seems pretty lonely out there.

We love our little mallard duckling. Theyre so much stink'n fun!

dont mallards have the stripe and then the dot? i thought that the rouens have two stripes

I would vote mallards. This is a 3 day old rouen....

Well that clears up alot. Look like i have 2 Rouens instead, and 1 mallard.
