Why Have Adverts Suddenly Started Popping UP?

This ad should not show for logged in users. If you are logged in and you are seeing it, it is possible your browser is delivering a cached version of the page.

If you have cleared your cache, and are logged in but still getting this ad unit, please let us know, and please provide which device and browser combination you are using.

If you are not logged in you should see it, but it should be the small one that is shown in the quoted example.

OK, I did that and I'm logged in and it's still there.

We are going to purge the cache on our end as well. For the moment the ad is turned off until the purge is completed. I will post an update after we purge and re-activate to make sure it is only showing for the proper viewers.

I have never had problems b4....BUT..had the same issue yesterday...i literally could not read posts without constantly shutting off adds. As soon as I closed one..another would pop up!!!! Sometimes when I tried to close them..it would activate the add to. So...if this becomes an ongoing issue I will not continue to use this site...its annoying beyond words!! I am on this site everyday..its how I relax...pop ups are not relaxing

As a premium member, you can go into your settings and turn all adds off. I am a premium member and I did not see pop ups yesterday.
No ads is a great benefit of going premium on BYC
