Why Have Adverts Suddenly Started Popping UP?

Wow, a lot of replies!

@apryl29. I mean ads actually popping up on the screen (forgot to say I'm on mobile.) The same type of advert in the screenshot @FridayYet posted.

It's really annoying me as they are literally taking up half the screen and i have to click the cross everytime i change the page!

As @Finnie said, they are more annoying than I am willing to deal with. If BYC don't sort this out soon, I'm sure I will be coming on a lot less as It is really, really irritating.

This NEVER used to happen on my mobile. I've only recently had this problem and BYC need to get their act together and stop the ads popping up everytime you change the page.

I have had the premium membership for over a year (wanted to say thank-you for such a great informative site). I use only my iPad and have experienced no pop-up ads. So you could always upgrade your membership?

@Krazyquilts. I don't really want to be paying out for premium membership. This used to be a great, free site. But now they've brought in these adverts. I'd be fine with small ads, but not these huge adverts that get in your way all the time!

Thanks for all the reports and the details. Our ad-server was recently changed and that caused some wonkiness with the ads.

We DO NOT want any popup ads showing up on BYC and we're making changes to get them removed!

Thank you for the quick response Nifty-Chicken! I'm really pleased BYC is working to remove them. They were really bugging me and I'll be glad when i don't keep accidently tapping them when I'm trying to post something!
