I have seen crows dive bomb a hawk mid-air. In my backyard in a very, tall large tree, I heard a lot of loud, angry cawing. I watched and saw a hawk fly out of the tree, proceed to get dive bombed, then the hawk flew back into the tree. After more cawing, the hawk flew again, and I saw crows start flying out of the tree after it, I counted 18 crows! Granted, it could have been plus or minus a couple, but it was a sight to behold. I actually saw the hawk get knocked down a bit, then flying a little, then I lost sight of the hawk. The crows stopped cawing in the next few minutes.
I have more crow encounters, and yes, they have been good to have around.
