Wild Visitor - Second Visitor pg 2

I absolutely love them. I hate to say it but I truly think if one were to grab a duck/chicken of mine I would still marvel over them.

Another feathered and taloned bird decided to drop by. Perched in the lone American Linden tree in the field (the Eagle perched in an Elm on a different place on the property). I decided I am keeping the birds in the run for a week or two, just to be cautious. That is why I built a run and covered it with netting. Plus, with snow on the ground, free ranging just offers a leg stretch rather than foraging.

Any ideas? Looks like a juvenile Osprey to me, but I am not sure.

Here's one I caught in the median down the street from our home! I acutally saw him, drove home to get the camera, and drove back to get his mug

We don't have any issues with eagles because they mostly nest on the coast... our chickens free-range, too, so I try to keep watch.
