Will a Roo hurt a duck?

My female duck started limping a few weeks ago, I gave her niacin to see if that was the issue and she seemed to get a little bit better but she still had a small limp.. Today it got worse, she’s barely walking limping bad.. Will a rooster mounting her cause this? Do I need to separate or is this another issue? I can try to post a video if needed but it won’t upload right now
