Hello and good afternoon, that year I found out my wooden coop had wood mites! And after a lot of trying but only seeing failure I was happy when I got predator mites and they started to kill and eat all the mites. However recently one of my hens went broody and I can see both predator and wood mites. Is that a problem? I know the predator mites can hurt the chickens or people same with the wood mites bite can't imagine it's comfortable for the broody hen. I also started using a mites spray that I'm using to put around her nest and along the outer walls of her nest. Do you think that should keep them from entering? I do it three times a day and it's supposed to make a toxic barrier for the mites but it's completely safe for the chickens.
