I have 4 Plymouth rock girls and 1 rooster that will be 14 weeks and 6 silkies that will be 7 weeks.

Is anyone else coming and what might you bring?? I am looking for a black mottled cohin, either a chick or eggs. We had to cull my 6 year old son's rooster. He just wasn't doing well, and he would like another.

So far I have hear from 5 people that will be there setting up. They are bringing various chickens, some meat rabbits, and coops and rabbit hutches. I havent heard anyone with cochins or eggs, but I will add them to the want list. Right now it looks like I will have 2 barred rock/cochin crosses (9 wks), 2 unknown mixes (9 wks), a grey orpington that I THINK is a pullet (9 wks), possibly a pair for polish/sultan crosses (9wks and very cool looking birds, I just dont have enough room to keep everyone I think is cool), and possibly a pair of 9 wk old Breda Fowl (I am trying to figure out how to sex these guys!). I am not sure about the sex on the mixes. We have been asked to set up in the left hand corner of the parking lot as you pull in (the far side). There is a water source there to refill our waterers as needed. Flyers have been hung around Windham and Raymond and I am spreading the word as much as possible. If you know of anyone else interested please pass the info on. If you want to put some flyers up in your area, msg me your email address and I will get them out to you.

I'm looking for the following. Coop-ready only, no chicks.
1 Buff Orpington Pullet
1 Orpington Pullet, any other color (would prefer splash, or maybe lavender. Just looking for variety)
1-2 Black Copper Marans Pullets

I just posted and ad on Craigslist for the swap. It will probably be flagged but it will at least be up for a bit before that happens.

That's where I put it. Who knows it just may stay since the flaggers seem to pay more attention to the pet section. Or they are on vacation this week and will leave it alone.

Uh-Oh! Found a discrepency I didnt notice until now! I have advertised and organized with the store to do 9am to 1pm. I just noticed on the maine swap list here, and the CL ad you did Widget, that it says 8am. Hoppy and Widget, if you guys could edit that I would appreciate it!


edited because I saw that I even had it listed on this thread as 8am too! Dont know how I managed to list one time here, and another with the store!
