Windham Maine TSC Farm Days- NEXT DATE: JULY 28TH!

here in maine, it's a blood test, just a poke with a needle under the wing, most birds do not mind. the test is done right there. they are testing for pullorum and a type of salmonella (other states test for other things, some for more types of salmonella) and some states require birds tested for avian influenza. maine does not require that but NH does.that I believe is either a throat swab, a coanal swab or blood and that gets sent out. once the test is done, you will get a paper from the tester saying they are tested and the results then the state of maine will send you a card- testing is good for 1 yr. anybody have anything to add?
What do you mean that they need to be tested?????????? I am a newbie.

I'm not going to make it. :(. I strained my shoulder yesterday at work and need to take it easy this weekend. If I could get Sam to unload the Saturn (hay and grain is in the back of it right now) and load it back up with the EZ-Up and the ducks then I would be fine. But being a Pyr she would rather lay down and watch what is going on instead of actually working.
