Yep. we had two brothers in together a while back, and one of them was tufted and the other wasn't and they would fight all the time and the one kept getting his tufts messed up. But then, later I would come out and they would be laying down together, side by side!

A black Sumatra pullet burst from the bushes and pounced on it, grabbing it's neck in her beak while pummeling it with her talons.
