Oriole came back to camp with a piece of meat in his beak. He dropped in on a rock in the shade. "I followed some vultures to a deer carcass." he clucked to Hercules.

Stormy eyed the meat It's just like a giant bug. He thought. "Do we have to be accepted by your flock leader?" Snowberry asked.

"Hmmm..." Rocket mused "I am fine living with bantams or standards." Suddenly Rocket had an idea. "Which of your flocks is stronger? Oster or Vaast?"

"Oster's warriors fight in pairs, and are not considered any weaker opponents. We are trained in ambush and wing to wing combat. Vaast will not tolerate border passers and can resist minor attacks but is not as offensive as Oster. Most chickens would agree that I am the strongest of my four... siblings." Hercules explained.

Rocket thought about it and realized that she would be able to get a higher rank in Oster than in Vaast, because it would be easier to get higher on the pecking order. "I will accept your invite to Oster!" Rocket clucked
