Quickpeck jumped in front of his siblings, prepared to protect them. His hackles started to raise. "I could ask you the same questions!" he clucked.
"Quickpeck, slow down!" Huckleberry squawked "She might not be hostile."
Rosewing started forward, her hackles rising. Huckleberry stopped her. "This might be our chance to get a flock!" he whispered.
