Norra

Blackmoon patrolled the border of Norra with two other chickens.

Sharpspurs stood in Norra camp, observing the other chickens.

Sodra

Snowfire watched the sky for hawks, Is that black dot a hawk or a vulture? he thought

Starlight was staring at the same dot as Snowfire.

Vaast

Huckleberry walked up to a random chicken in Vaast. "Have you seen Rosewing or Quickpeck?" he asked

Rosewing and Quickpeck had went into the deepest part of the forest. "What's that?" Quickpeck said fearfully, looking at a rustling bush. "Hello?" Rosewing clucked to the bush, hoping it was just a lost chicken. Suddenly, a giant fox burst out of the bush and lunged toward Rosewing.

Griffin stood tall by the forest that ringed Vaast territory. He heard a loud screech from the forest. I need to get reinforcements! Griffin rushed toward Vaast camp.

Olive foraged at the edge of the forest.
~~
Midnight stared at a crow, daring it to come closer.
~~
Sunset sat on her eggs.
~~
Blue perched in a tree at the edge of camp, wishing he was the Lead Cock.

Oster

Snowberry trained with Ozzy. (@LilJoe )

"Now, why don't we have a lesson on foraging?" Rocket clucked to Ozzy and Snowberry.

Stormy attacked the pheasant that was trying to kill Vulture. (@Flufferes )

Stripes sat on the ground in Oster camp, wishing she had a fledger.

Chipmunk looked at Ember, waiting for directions.

Griffin ran into Vaast camp, "I need reinforcements! I think a chicken was attacked by a predator in the woods!"

Huckleberry ran up to Griffin "I'll help!" he crowed

Night ran over "I`ll help too!" He said "Were?"

"In the deepest part of the forest!" Griffin crowed "C'mon everyone!"

Huckleberry's blood froze. He remembered Quickpeck and Rosewing telling him that they were going to explore the forest. Oh no! I have to help them!

River ran over "Lets go then!" She snapped

Night nodded

(Oster)
"You'll see," Rocket led Ozzy and Snow to a field ringed with wild blackberries. "Get foraging." she ordered

Chipmunk followed Ember's gaze.

(Oster)
Griffin led Huckleberry, Night, and River toward where he had heard the sound.

Night and River follow him

(Oster)
Rocket looked at the snake carefully, "For a small snake, yes. For a large or poisonous snake, you have to be more careful."
(Oster)
Chipmunk stared at his fledger, "Uhh Ember? Maybe we should get under cover..."
(Vaast)
Griffin ran toward the forest, flapping his wings so he went faster. He led the chickens to the middle of the forest, where he had heard the screech.

Quickpeck flew at the fox, trying to make it let go of his sister. The fox dropped Rosewing, but grabbed Quickpeck's wing.
~~
Huckleberry rushed toward the fox, not wasting a moment. "Drop my brother, you filthy flea-bag!"

Night tried to distract the fox

River flew at it grabbing it`s nose and clawing it`s eyes

(Vaast)
Griffin raked his spurs across the fox's face.

Huckleberry pecked the fox's legs.
~~
Quickpeck slowly limped toward Rosewing, his wing lay useless by his side.

Night jumped the fox grabbing it`s flank he left a large gash in it

River tore one of the fox`s ears off

Griffin spurred the fox's eyes.

Huckleberry grabbed one of the fox's ears with his beak.
~~
The fox grabbed one of Griffin's legs in it's mouth. "Help!" Griffin screeched

Rosewing lay on the ground, bleeding. Quickpeck limped over to her, "Rosewing?" he whispered "Are you ok?"



(Oster)
Rocket laughed "You couldn't fit more in your mouth if you wanted to! You may go back to camp, Ozzy." Rocket looked at Snowberry "I'm not Snowberry's fledger, so she can do what she wants."

Snowberry clucked "I'll come with you Ozzy."

Chipmunk watched Hercules attack the eagle, wide-eyed. "What's he doing?!"

(Vaast)
"Griffin!" River screeched she grabbed the fox`s muzzle and clawed it`s chest anger rushed through her as she attacked the fox

(Vaast)
Griffin flapped his wings in the fox's face, trying to get it to drop him.

Huckleberry flew up onto the fox's head, and it dropped Griffin on the ground.
~~
Griffin tested his leg to see if it was broken, finding that it was fine, he leaped at the fox's flank.
~~
Huckleberry pecked the fox's face hard, and then flew to the ground.

Night jump onto the fox clawing it`s back he grabbed it`s ear

River clawed it`s flank leaving gashes in it

Griffin and Huckleberry helped carry Rosewing.

Quickpeck obediently limped over to River and tried, unsuccessfully, to lift his wing.


Snowberry looked at Sweet-Pea. "Why'd you shake your head?" she asked curiously. @LilJoe

(He changed his name to @GreatBreeder )

Night helped carry Rosewing

"Hrm" She wrapped some moss around his wing "That should do until we get to camp then we can get something better. Come on" River said then she began to walk to camp

"There is a- a bad break it has cut your muscle we must get to camp NOW" River said walking faster

*fast forward to when they get to camp*

Quickpeck limped toward the healer's den. (Does anyone know who the healer of Vaast is?)

(OK, so if it's almost clean off, he's probably going to lose the wing. Soooo, she'll use herbs for infection and bleeding.)

Odette raced forward, inspected the wound and raced to the back, returning with cobwebs, few sticks and herbs. She applied horsetail, goldenrod, a bit of chervil and comfrey root, then very gently moved his wing until it was about in the normal position. She held the sticks on his wing and, with great difficulty, wrapped the wing with cobwebs so it stayed in place. Odette heaved a relieved sigh and clucked, "It's unlikely the wing will heal completely, but in case it does, I've wrapped your wing with cobwebs up to the shoulder joint and then some to hold it in place. You'll have to stay here for a few days while it heals. Then I'll see what to do next." she pointed with her wing to a nest by Storm, "Go lay down and tell me if you need anything."

Snow flapped her wings to keep up with Ozzy.

"Should we help them?" Chipmunk asked Ember urgently.

Rosewing was bleeding all over her body. She was limp with shock and pain.

"I'm ok, my wing might be broken though." Quickpeck murmured "We need to get Rosewing to camp, NOW."

Hercules scrabbled with the hawk, pecking at its eyes. When he saw Big Mama jump onto the eagle as well, he started pecking at the golden eagle's eyes. The eagle screeched and panicked, clawing at Hercules and ripping open a healing wound on his chest. He jumped back and skidded across the ground, curling up.

Hercules scrabbled with the hawk, pecking at its eyes. When he saw Big Mama jump onto the eagle as well, he started pecking at the golden eagle's eyes. The eagle screeched and panicked, clawing at Hercules and ripping open a healing wound on his chest. He jumped back and skidded across the ground, curling up.

"Hercules needs help fighting a golden eagle! Any volunteers?" Chipmunk crowed.

Odette rushed over to Rosewing with chervil, horsetail, goldenrod and many cobwebs. She put the cobwebs on to soak up the blood, then applied the herbs to all the wounds. "They'll heal if you rest." she pointed to the nest next to Quickpeck, and turned to the other chickens, "Is anyone else injured?"
