Rain hopped from tree to tree and stopped.Below her, a small chipmunk was nibbling on a nut,"We eat fish, we can eat chipmunks, Right?"She whispered softly.She plunged down from the tree, fear flickering in her eyes for a swift moment as her heart lurched.She landed right ontop of the chipmunk, before giving it a swift blow to the neck.It squeaked and then fell limp.She started to scratch the ground, kicking up dust and dirt, making a hole.She dropped the creature into the hole and kicked the dirt back in, so she could grab it later.
