Hercules saw the first of his flock run up. She was a small black silkie. "Hello Skykra." He said coolly. "What have you decided to fledge for?"

Stykra stared at Hercules in wonder. He was actually talking to her? "Uhh... I'm gonna be a wa-warrior." She stammered. Hercules looked at her curiously. "I think I have the perfect fledger for you." He said. "Acorn, hurry over here!" ( @PeepersMama )

~Drizzle bolted out from the forest, feathers ruffled. She skidded up to Hercules, panting, but didn't offer an abashed apology. She shook the dirt out of her feathers, and hopped onto the far side of the ledge.~
