Rocky thought they were there for him. He froze, and he promptly fainted.

"GET BACK HERE!" a loud and deep voice shouted. Running, running, running, RUN. Brothers and sisters being grabbed. "HELP US!", "help us..." He couldn't have helped, right. Right. Right. Right. No right right right right.
