(I thought Stripes was in Oster? Unless I missed something and she came to Vaast. Or I mixed things up and thought all this was happening in Vaast.)

Vulture kicked harder, eventually throwing the grouse off. He bolted back to the trees and flew up in a willow.

"Gah!!!" King kicked a stone. He readjusted his eyes and noticed a grouse in the distance. "Grouse... hmm..." He elegantly walked in the direction.

The eagle threw Hercules and Big Mama aside.
He flew to the nearest tree and stared at the little birds. ( @RiverStorm @silkieRaiser )

Hercules saw the eagle stride toward the chicks. He painfully stood up, blood gushing from his wound. "Fight like a man, Eagle. If you can't beat a pair of chickens, you have no honor." He said in the eagle tongue. The eagle flipped it's head around, surprised that a chicken was talking to it in its tongue. Hercules took advantage of it's surprise and pounced, going for the neck. He heard a crack and the eagle fell to the ground, dead.
