Winter Quilt Block Swap 2013

Its great! I have silver trees, but I love trees and snowflakes in winter. I don't think it looks christmasy at all.

So, I guess its time to open a new thread for the next block swap, eh?

Thank you. I went with something simple since it has been a long time since I have done any piecing (mostly been doing applique). What is the next swap? I think it will fill up fast.

I signed up for the next swap. Sounds like fun and I love the colors. If my blocks are scappy I can use fabric from my stash. I'll enjoy doing them since the holidays will be over and I'll have my house to myself again and the weather will keep me inside.

You sound like me. I have four not finished already. I'll just play catch up this winter when I can't work outside in my garden.

How many blocks are we making? I have to figure out how much fabric to buy

How much fabric did you other quilters buy? I know it will not be the same yardage for everyone, I was just curious.

We are making 15 blocks. They should be 12 x 12 inch, plus allow a seam.

I have got all my fabric ordered (my stash isn't that huge, so I'm taking these block swaps as an opportunity to build it up too.) and will be starting sewing after I finish my blocks for the first swap this weekend.
