What a coincidence that I just made Roasted Red Pepper Red Potato soup !! Wondering how you can those roasted red peppers ? Did you grow them yourself ? I can't believe the price of those. $1.49 each at Walmart !!! I'm definately going to grow them next year !!

Evening,
My job shadowng did well, I went to go grab the pony to meet up with TO and on my way from the house to the barn.. I lost ALL my brakes on the truck.
I was able to careen my way to the barn and the handyman can fix it for me.
I still went to meet her, and she followed me back to the barn and we went for a moonlit ride!!
I also got to show her my chickens.!!

Boy everyone must have been busy today! Too busy to post much.

Robin... Pretty birdies! Are the white ones Leghorns?

To... I've never broken anything around the horses. A true wonder as many times as I got stepped on and thrown! However I broke my foot on a 4" step coming in from the barn! Worse part was I went back out and rode some more and by the time I came in they had cut my boot off!!! My boot that I only wore 2 or 3 times!!!

Sure hope you heal well! I know it can hurt like H3LL!

DH was falling asleep anyway, he had to open so he got up at 3:30 am!

I posted this on the So. Bash Thread. I'm posting it here too for anyone not going in case someone is interested and we can do a "chain thing".

I would like 2 or 3 Ameraucana HENS if anyone has any! I have 6 Ameraucanas and 4 are ROOSTERS! Go figure!

I also have a black and a lavender (I think, it's kinda' a light grey) full size (young, 4 months) Cochin Roos I could trade for something if anyone is interested. I need hens! Can't keep up with egg orders!

No I got the SPIKE as the local health food store where I sell my eggs but my sister got a jar at the PickNSave in Racine so I'd imagine all the PickNSaves would have it.

Good Morning Everyone! Just got done catching up. Not as bad as I expected. What a bunch of cool pics everyone! We had a great time up nort but not one single bite on several types of bait offerings. Everyone that was fishing said the same thing. We rolled it home late yesterday aft. FT I looked up roasting red peppers a while back and it seemed like a lot of BS so I never tried it. But you've given me the insperation to try it now. Yep red peps were already on the list for next years garden I use them in my giardiera and almost fell over when I saw the price too. Think today will be tilling the garden and maybe mow for the last time. We're trying to decide what to throw on grill tonight.
