I know where there is a free truck topper down here. BUT I don't know what kind of truck you have or the bed length...

I called her today and she was going to find out when she went back to work at 3pm. She drives school bus. Then I went down there about 5:30pm and no one was home. Just called now and no answer. She knows I'm coming down to Racine this weekend so hopefully I"ll here by tomorrow. I'll try calling or going down there again tomorrow.

Her husband works out of town so she isn't home alot, think she goes to her parents and sisters alot these days.

So do you guys think if I put them in big vari kennels and face them forward up tight against the front of the truck they will be ok for a 250 mile trip? I could put a tarp over the top of it to, to break the wind.

I'm hopefully coming down Thursday sometime but have no idea when I will get out of here. Could be late afternoon before I leave. I work very slow and I may have to wait until DH gets home from work on at around 4pm to help me load up.
Would one of you guys be able to meet up with me on the interstate Thursday night or do you wanna meet me Friday morning at the UW HOSP parking lot ?? LOL
I have a tendency to not be a morning person that you know all to well .

I have to be at the Hospital by 10:30AM I think for a mamo then doc appointment at 12:20PM.

I'd hate to have to unload the chickens on Thursday night in Racine (middle of the city) or have them crow and have some BB come and take them or ??? Don't ask me what BB means, it got me in trouble once before !!!

Anyone going to the Beaver Dam show on Saturday and the swap in Beaver Dam on Sunday ? I talked to the guy I got my peacocks and hen from tonight and he doesn't have anymore but he is going to look for me at the swap on Sunday.
He has pairs of Seramas for $25.

I'd call the neighbor tonight but I think they go to bed real early cause he gets up to leave for work real early. Never mind, I just called and left them another message !! I figure if I'm up then they should be too !!

Ok, Where in the H3LL is everybody tonight. Feel like I'm in the twighlight zone here by myself !!! Ok well, I'm going to take a shower then I'll be back, hopefully with something to read !!

Started itching in my bra area tonight area, thought boy do I ever need a shower, I was itching so bad !!! Finally pulled some feathers out from my brazieer !!! LOL Forgot I put them in there instead of the pants today !!!

This getting old sure is entertaining, even for myself !!!!

I ordered a load of granite today.. I am going to spread a good layer in the chicken yard to keep the mud down. and going to patch a few dips in the driveway.. we will see how far 10 yards will go...

Yea, it's out of your way a bit but they will be safe, fed and you can get them after your appointments. Another reason is ....

TO... we have a 2 wheeler too. Much nicer than the single wheel one. If I have to haul feed I take my wagon, It's easier to get to the back yard.

Jim... Yea, my uncle (well, they were my Aunts) had dairy goats and they sold a few gallons of milk a week but the demand went down so they cut back to just a couple. Way to much work and expense for me now. I do like them though. I see from the pics you sent where Storky gets her looks!

BTW... maybe I should think twice about getting more from your flock

I saw the weirdest thing today... One of the little Ameraucana roos I got from you must be "coming of age" however he seems to be VERY CONFUSED! I saw him mounting one of the guineas!

And, by the dance the guinea was doing just prior, I would say the guinea was a male!

The guinea was not happy.

And Storky has an identity crises, she always hangs with the guineas and is acting more and more like them

But, if you want to get rid of a few I'm willing to take a chance again

Of the list I couldn't tell what you plan on getting rid of (besides quail

) I'm open to pullets, hens, maybe chicks. Ameraucanas or some type of decent layer. Let me know what's up for grabs and what you want for them. If FT doesn't want leave what she's bringing down here overnight I can meet up with her.

Good Wet Morning All! I tried to keep up on what all FT was hauling south but the more I read the more confused I get. FT that was the first thing I thought of when you were talking about itching in your brayzeer area. Might want to do a clean out before your mamogram. Can just see the look on their faces when you disrobe.

Cind think your right about Peatwo he might have seen that pheasants tail feathers and hid in the garage with shame.

Jim, Donny is getting 3 -18yrd loads of gravel any day now and I get to go level them out for him. With my new soon to be Ford tractor.

He says once the driveway is done it becomes mine. Parked the Case out by the road yesterday.

Gonna miss the lil mule. L says I should just keep it too. Hmmm. Want to go down to Donny's and take a good look at the tire chains. The ones I have are almost brand new still think I'll swap them out. Anybody looking for a really nice tractor with a snow blade? $1500 firm! TO think it would be great if the 3 of us were related we could have a mini bash at the fam reunion! Chickens everywhere!

Hope the toe heals fast been there done that too. My right foot is wider than the left now. Stupid foot! dk only in Mo. and Ak. and Tn. would a neighbor bring over a road killed tree rat for supper. Need to get some rapid rise yeast to try SIS's bread recipe. Looking for one that is more moist than the one I've made in the past. Haven't made bread since the flood last year.

Well except for Bigz's beer bread. Man that goes good with soups! Need to throw a tarp over the Case engine. Stupid rain! Should make a pie today too BFF brought me a case of apples from his dad. Don't know how they would be in pies, real sweet. Stay dry!

I gave my guineas to my mom and now one of them is beating up her ducks! So guess who's responsible for finding them a new home? Pretty sure they're both males and one is royal purple and the other violet.

Deb, not much of a meal,, just one squirrel.. He must have figured you could add it to the possum stew you had going on the stove.. I had a neighbor hit a deer right in front of my house and gave it to me.. He had all his little kids in the car and didn't want them to see it.. spotted fawn.. 20 pounds of wild veal..
