No hunting yet Raiq....been thinkin I really need to get started. Bought the license today and knawing to get started. I've had the camera out and there is plenty to hunt here again this year. I love venzun, like grandma use to say.

We froze 8lbs of carrots....have plenty of those and beets yet.....anyone need some?

good job all, I came to vent but after 10+ pages to read no need to vent any more lol, NOT! I'll still tell ya, OK so my DS 11 went on a camping trip with school 1 1/2 hours away, They call me to tell me that he has such a bad migrain that he is puking. I told her to give him some tylenol, she told me that they cant cause I didn't send tylenol for him?! long story short I told her to let me talk with one of the many parents that went with on the trip and I'll tell them to give him some tylenol. otherwise I would have to drive up there?? after him being sick and with migrain for 3 hours she told me that she would find some and give him some and if she couldn't find any that she would call me. what a bunch of crap, stupid government! I couldn't even verbally give her permission to give him some. how dumb! you know if she would have called me right away when it first started at 4 I could have had my DH drive there, he was working 20 mins away, but NO she waited till after he got home. so no as of yet I havent gotten a call to come and get him. bad thing is I'm stressed and I can't even have some wine cause I may have to go get him. lol

had to take my mom in for an out patient yesterday, 2.5 hours in the waiting room with 4 kids (3-8) I brought books and homeschool work for them all lol some guy came up to them and told them that they were the best behaved kids he has seen in a long time. I was so proud lol I bought them all a small toy lol they agreed with me that that was a very good feeling to have some one compliment them.

and DS 8 didn't believe me that people would do that. I think more people should do that. something to think about when YOU see a kids behaving real good.

I got someone coming over this weekend to buy 36ish birds! YAY! that will be all then of what we need to sell before winter. as long as he don't come and steel them before hand we will be doing fine. LONG story. He even told me that he would be interested in some next year too. We'll see about that, right now I'm only hatching what we can eat and presell.

Any who, I gotta tuck in the kids so I can have my tv time all by myself lol

Good evening everyone! Hey BigZ...think we ticked Jim off? Nah! So I would LOVE some of those beets...any idea how to get together? I suppose you arent coming down for the Southern Bash? Hey, are your Buckeys laying yet???? (mine arent) But then neither are the Ameracaunas....gettin' mighty tired of feeding these freeloaders!
Speaking of....took a bunch of the bigger baby quail down to the basement brooder...I must have taken someone's girl or boy friend...there is one carrying on in the Chick TV like there's no tomorrow! Might have to pull that one too...so noisy!

I got the new pen's door on...well, it is ready to get on. I didnt have any hinges so DH had to bring me some after work. Will get that together tomorrow and start adding roosters to the pen for THE BIG DAY! (I actually hate to even think about it...) I do need to cut back though. THe ones in the laying coop are eating #50 a day in laying mash...2 doz eggs dont even begin to cover that cost! So I will be moving birds around for the next week.

DH took the dogs to the park tonight...got back just as the rain started...sure thought we were going to get it all day again...no one was there I guess. I had thought that maybe they switched the moonlight walk to tonight because of the rain last night...too bad for the fundraiser!

OK--I am heading to bed shortly...gotta make some popcorn--I always have it after omelets for supper! Tonight I added tomato and cheese (of course), zucchini, onion, cotto salami, cut like worms (to get it out of the fridge) and potatoes. They were delish to be sure!
