She drove, she got mildly lost at the screwy new interchange, she got on track, she came. She showed me her "pet chickens" she had to bring (because they needed meds.) Very cute little girls
Let little "but dog" have a potty break. That little dog is such a good quiet dog, and we took the chickens to their new temp. digs. I put them in the brooder pen for now and will set something bigger up later. They looked so fluffy and down right cuddly....hope they'll be happy here. We woke up the flock
and played with the birds for a while. Good thing she came! When I'm down there I don't ware glasses (for close up) and she spotted a creepy crawly on Sissy (the bantam Turken) Guess I'll do the ivermectin now instead of the end of the month.
Figured it was about time for a dose anyway. Couldn't talk her into taking any of my roos!
Although she thought the Golden Comet ones were pretty... and they are. Very nice talking to her. I think the job her DH did on the truck window was good for a temp. fix, sure looked like it would hold anyway. At least he didn't do it with seat belts!
Wish she could have stayed longer but we both had things to do yet. Guess it was about midnight when she left. Wish she could have come when it was still light out so I could have showed her more.
FT... if you read this... DH said he could have some of those 5 gal. buckets for you Tue. and he'll see about some Italian beef too!
Thanks Jim! You still didn't tell me how much for the birdies
