Good evening--just got back from taking dd19 back to school. Yes, Jim the guy did show up and bought 12 instead of 10 and his brother took 2 roos. My new system worked GREAT! The buyer was amazed how much easier I had made it than when he was here 2 years or so ago! I gave him a bonus of quail eggs--about 4 dozen! He was so surprised...I LOVE to do that! So now all my ducks are SOLD! I have 3 or 4 nice drakes and the rest are females for next year....should cut down on my corn amounts a bit for sure!
CC--I laughed when I read your comment about the "in and out" doors! No way I typed that!
I really did mean a one way door so they are trapped in after they come back from flying. It is made with wires or something that push to the inside.
BigZ DH says that the filter is on the drivers' side and you have to be careful with the clips (dont break them unless the new filter comes with them) also the same clip has to go in the same place (brown and clear) You can use a little screwdriver to get them off. Dont have to shut off the inertia switch but be careful cause the gas might be under pressure! (watch those eyes!!!) Yeah at 172,000 prolly needs it! Especially with all that sand up there! Kids turned my car over to 150,000 on their trip but said it ran like a top!
I am going to make some omelets for supper tonight...I have eggs coming out my ears! DH is not hungry yet however....so I will wait...
I havent locked up the critters yet. I was amazed that it was already getting dark at 3:30!!!
How long till the days are getting longer? I am already very tired of this early evening stuff as I am sure you all are too! No time for anything it seems.
DH is being "sewing machine repair guy" here...my cabinet one was not wanting to work right so he adjusted the tensioner on it and then brought out my portable and cleaned and made sure that one was working too! Now he is on line reading a bunch of sewing stuff tome...he even joined a Singer Yahoo group! (oh brother) I think maybe he was happy that I mended his 4 pairs of jeans that needed help!
Watching one of our BCs playing with a rubber toy...she puts it on the couch and then "smiles" at it and hits it with her paw until it falls down then pounces on it and does it all again! Reminds me of the videos off foxes playing with mice in the snow that I have seen.
I suppose I'd better stop rambling and get to the chores...always something to feed...goodnight!
