Good Morning All! I think putting the bucket on yesterday was the ticket. The snow is scared of the mighty Fiord! The worst is now slated to be north of us. Sorry Dan! Amy that gave me a chuckle! Think your gonna have fasten down the toilet lid soon.

FT think your sis is glad you don't live closer, oh and because of spoiling Addie too. he he he. End of the race was so weird! Was glad to see MM [55] got a couple of laps out front. Apyl I know that was so weird. When the PO called I asked if I could come get them and the gal said that she would bring them down. I thought boy guess I get back some of the shipping cost. Don't know if the PO in Nekoosa didn't have over night workers or what, maybe she was just chicken people and cared? One more day of Feb people! It's comin! The middle of the garden lost it's snow the other day and it didn't take long for the chickens to figure it out. Only got one egg yesterday but gave them some cracked corn, that usually helps. Gonna raise the heat lamp on the chicks again think their getting big enough that I can shut it off soon. Bf4 hope your cold passes quickly! Better get movin!

FT - cute pics. I miss my kids being that stage. Come September all my kids will finally be going to school I'm happy but kinda not, it means I will be getting a job soon lol.

It was nice to finally wake up to no frost on the van windows, it makes it a lot easier to drive lol. Usually we run late so I scrape a small spot to see thru just to get the kids down to the end of the road to the bus. I took the dogs this morning, and boy I was contemplating buying a car instead of a Truck or SUV but not now. lol The are complete seat hogs, between the dogs and kids theirs no room in the van. So looks like I'll be keeping my eyes open for someting bigger again.

I'm watching my tracking for the chicks, and they are still in Ohio ugh. They were picked up at 3:28pm and are still sitting at the sort facility. I hope I see some movement today.

Morning all!
Not much to report here! One of the RO's spent the night in one of the nests. She was kind of crankie. She must have gotten cold and figured brooding was not worth the cold tootsies! She was off the nest and running around with the crew this morning! Thank goodness!
She and Midge are going to the seminar tonight.

Well, the babies are getting roudy so they must be about out of food.....best go mash up some feed and feed the masses....

Oh that Addie is pretty cute. Who doesnt love a cute baby tooshie! Aply- same with me, my twins go full time come september and I will be working 4 days instead of 2. Will be nice for all of us! Love my kids dearly, but they have their days! Both are full energy and full attention.
Love the U shaped look of the Langshan... beautiful bird. Scoping out my wish list for the incubator!

Morning all--not too much happening here yet either. On my first cuppa then off to let critters out and to Milwaukee to meet the "Chicago Lawyer"

I hope the construction isnt too bad. Last week when I went it was slow going so I hope the earlier time will be better. The ramp that goes South by the stadium is all ripped up and I guess completely closed during the night. THen the right lane is also closed for quite a stretch. I thought about meeting on the bypass but hated to call him and then figure out some place to meet again! It's kinda hard when so much stuff has changed from when I lived there.

THese chicks in my ChickTV are so quiet! It must be because there are only 3 of them--I dont think the modern games made any sound at all! Right now Eli is sandwiched between the two f them--it is adorable!
FT I just wanted to hug that baby! I love her cheeks (both sets!) LOL
Sorry to hear you are under the weather Bigfam. It is hard when there are many depending on you...then you cant just sleep and get better! I always hated when my DH would get sick; he'd just go to bed fr 3 days and then be better. He never understood why it took me so much longer to get over something. DUH! Good thing I very rarely (knock on wood) get sick with a cold!

Well--seems I am rambling...that means I need to shut down and get something done here before I have to leave. I will post a pic of the new boy when I get him home! Have a good day everyone--Terri O

also pictured is Angel (silkie/EE) and Frizzle (cochin frizzle)


FT u just wait till I get my neice/god daughter this weekend! Addie is cute but Kira (my neice) is SUPER cute!

so I have these 3 chicks and Mama (a buff silkie) in the house. and one of those chicks is constantly crying PEEP PEEP PEEP! nothing is ever wrong...... until this morning, the cry for help was different so once again I went and checked things out. Mama had a chick stuck to her rear end!

I usually clean up mamas poo cause it STINKS so bad, guess I missed some?

guineys, I got 4 (from Jim) they're what 10 months?, I can't tell them apart. any ways I got one that I thought was a female read some where that the female makes 2 different noises ?? "she" is MEAN! to the chickens but "she" will run toward me, keep an eye on me, run across my path all the way to the house ?? Is this showing aggression? is it a male? the top knot thing looks like it might be a LITTLE bigger than the others, it's gowl things look redder? IDK, but it is the ONLY one that cares that Im even out there. the only one that comes near me the others just go about what their doing (eating). IDK

good late morning, the goslings did OK last night in with the big geese. the quail seemed alright in the lean-to pen without any extra heat. I thought there were 6 in there, I only saw 5.. Lots of things to hide under, tho..

I still cannot figure out why my pictures won't load. tomorrow DD#2 will come and help me again.

been up since before 5 AM,, about ready for a nap..

the tractor started good today.. must have gotten the ice out yesterday. I got the yard all picked up of extra waterers and tubs.. ready for the snow..

I seldom watch the races.. I sure picked a doozie to finally watch.. I prolly would not have watched it, but Annie had it on..

Morning After the Race ....dang I wish they would of called the race after the firery crash...Tony Raines woulda finished 3rd. After the first restart he was 11th with 2 laps to go on the final restart...I was hoping he could pull of a top ten finish.....bummer...ended up 19th...oh well I think he prolly scored a few points. Way to many commercials....they didn't even interview the guy the whole time we waited for the race to restart, and he is sitting in 3rd place ....talk about bias ...I say call it the way it unfolds...come on, give the guy a break. So what if he hasen't had a top ten finish since 07...they could have at least mentioned it, I think. Ok, I'm done, I feel better now.

FT...those aren't naughty dancers....they're Nice!

Raim... it was me with the Splash! Yours looks obviously like a beautiful roo and mine.. not sure yet, but the bwaks were hen like and the comb is not like that at 6 months, bu the elvis do is rooish. Will have to keep my eye on it! For once, I wanted a roo... figure silkies are so cute, my neighbors wouldnt complain about a roo that cute... right?
