sweetfoley, Those floors look like the "floating" hardwood ? I installed a lot of them for different people.. they are nice.. It has been a long time since I did the last one.. IDK how they hold up overall, but the ones in my brother's bedrooms are about 10 years old and they look as nice as the day we put them in..

I always disliked drywalling ceilings.. I finally bought a narrow roll around scaffold and that made the job much easier.. I have it stored here in one of my tool trucks if you want to borrow it..

for those of you who are not familiar with royal palm turkeys.. this is out Tom..about 3 years old.. the white geese are Sebastopol that is a gander on the Left and a goose to the Right.
those two "bottom half "geese are Toulouse females ,, you can tell by the deep hanging rudders..

that is a white guinea sneaking a peek at the backside of the turkey..

Wally is off to his new home-loved the gentleman that picked him up. So both my roos have found wonderful new homes!!!

CRS about what I was going to post, I really should post as I read along .

Tomorrow the Farrier is coming, will be a long day. We still have tons of snow. Weather is bright and sunny and warm but it will take a while to melt 23".

Ok, gonna finish coffee and start to get busy before DH gets home from work. He is getting out early today, already has his 40 hours in.

Oh, and remember I said his boss didn't want just one guy working at the Elcho shop alone. Well, good thing DH was still there loading the furnace the other day. The bosses son was using a propane torch to cut up something. The hose or whatever is is broke off. He was wearing gloves and the propane shot out of the hose straight into his glove and the glove and his hand was on fire.
The guy called his girlfriend and asked if she could drive him to the hospital. She asked if he could drive himself !!! Excuse me, I said Girlfriend, it is his fiance, I would think it should be EX Fiance with that remark.
So when DH called me and he should of been home by then I asked where he was. He was on his way back to the shop to close up after taking the gut to the ER in Antigo.
I guess it was burnt on the top and bottom and he ended up going to Wausau.
I cringe when I think of it. Burns are awefully painful. Poor guy.

I agree on your assessment of the photo, FT. That other kid has way too innocent of a look on his face to be DrH.

And I agree on SFs kitchen. I love it! Look at all that room. And all the cabinets. And that floor is awesome.

That's sad about the bosses son. I hope he makes a full recovery. Burns are bad news.
