Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

And there are some crazies on here that get reptiles and other gross creepy crawlies... Eh, WCC?

OK---I take offense to this comment Bigfam! How could you not love this face?
Yes, he is one of those REPTILES! Just about the sweetest guy you could hope to meet too!

Found a pic of the three amigos...I sold the Royal Palm in the back. THis pic was from last winter...the turkeys have filled out considerably! I cant believe how mus bigger they are now. I will have to see if I can get a recent pic today. They always fan right when I come out...cause they know I am going to let the hen out--she is the only one with brains enough to sleep inside! LOL--T

(PS) Hey Tomski--I can find a home for those Buttons! Just lost my last one...they love to live in the bottom of my finch cages. THey make good janitors!

I am feeling much aligned and picked upon today. So MXM.... Forget everything I said, these folks don't know sh!t....

Busy day here, ds turns 6 tday and we have the family party. Must clean clean clean.

TO I'd kiss him but no tongue! Feel bad now forgot to include Ken in the missing human roo's query! Tomski I'd be interested in one cage if you could bring it to the Bash? Thinking of cutting it into thirds if that would help with your Bash packing. Those would make nice travel or holding cages! But only if you have room. Being bent up wouldn't be a problem I own several types of hammers.

tiki spent a long time trying to find your post about possible eggs @ Neilsville, had the post # written down about your breeds and lost it. Think once my scratch pad was full I threw it out.

NEVER throw anything away! Think you said you had some BR's and something else that caught my attention? Nothin fancy just want layin hens, no banty's please! I guess that means I'm committed to bating another batch. Or I should be committed!

I would bate up to 2 doz if you have them? Let me know! You do realize that this could put on the the "your the greatest" list. Wait just looked your already on it. How's that for suckin up? I'll gladly pay whatever your asking. Cause I have an illness. Hi my name is Joe.....

Haven't had time to catch up lately. I hope all are well and enjoying the weather. A bit windy out today but oh so sunny

Terri - The cages are all heavy duty galvanized. Mesh is way too big for quail but would work with chickens, rabbits...etc. I'm simply going to wire some 1/2 X 1/2 around the sides, bottom and top. There is a relatively large spring opening for each compartment there are 10 compartment in each row. So each compartment is 1X3' - I'm planning on taking out every other compartment for the Quail - Probably take only the middle divider out for the chicken breeder pen. If the buttons make it, they are yours!

I'll do my darn-dest to see if I can get through the fields to get some pics... Even the roads around the field are pretty muddy.. And of course I'll probably be doing a play by play with the hatching quail since this is my first time hatching the little buggers...

goooood morning cheeseheads !!! Yup I slept in.. I didn't get to bed until after 5AM..

I like it when Annie makes room in the freezer.. I just finished a large bowl of strawberries over angel food cake with mounds of whipped cream.. you can't ask for a more nutricious breakfast eh?

TerriO, I sent you a PM..

FT ea al,, I DK if the dog is PG.. she is putting on weight, but that might just be because Ken is feeding her treats all day long.. Annie gave her a good brushing a couple of weeks ago.. Now her new coat is growing in so nice and white and even..

those mink pens sound real nice.. I have a huge trailer that I could haul a ton of them get them down here closer for whoever wants them..I could use 2 or 3, but I would settle for 1..

If you line the bottom ring with a smaller mesh, you could use them for chicks and quails.

DrH, you prolly know this, but if you are pulling a spring tooth drag, watch it when you make a corner.. I once had one grab my tire and it almost ended up on top of me..

You people talking about red wing blackbirds (the real harold of spring) and lilac buds and gardening make me jealous.. we won't be getting anything like that up here in the frozen tundra for months yet..

I had more comments, but I will have to go back and read the posts again..

I just ordered 700 pounds of feed for Monday pick up..

Tomski, you will have a hoot hatching quail.. I think they are the most fun of all eggs.. they hatch like popcorn going off. and quail can run almost as soon as they hatch..

I think those 1 x 1 wires would hold a full grown quail in..

Suzie,, any kind of hay or straw will work for ground cover.. It will have to be re-applied every few weeks cause it rots fast on the ground..

Ski, that self description of you might confuse some people.. except for the part where you are standing next to your camper, that could be me you described.. except maybe you didn't go heavy enough on the good looking part..
