Ok, trying to catch up a little.
Sigh!
Cind, good luck with the broody. What new breeds you thinking of getting? Sorry to hear the toilet troubles are back. Has to be one of the worst problems to have. I hope you get it fixed soon.
I'm so glad your Isis & roo are ok. Scary.
New Joe, wow, nice hatch record! You sure did everything right, it seems. Congrats! Cute fluffy butts. And I'd say try the quail. What can it hurt?
Besides, from what TO & others say, their hatching sounds pretty exciting.
DrH, the ground squirrels are out by you already? I can just picture you waking up with one on your chest.
Better that then a crowing roo, right FT? Shrewd man you are, getting the soon to be in-laws started on the chicken addiction.
Jim, open 2 windows. I almost spit my coffe reading about how to catch a tick.
Terri, must be the breed? Unless Tommy is really old, I don't think he could be related, at least not closely. Jack will be 10 next month.
So glad you got his crop issue cleared up. I don't know about turning him into an imbiber, though. Do they have AA for poultry?
Talk about a social chicken!
Eeewwww! I saw that story about the pink slime too, Bigz. Nas-T!
Raim, so sorry about your call duck.
Yikes Tiki, I would definitely move if I were you. I agree with Terri, too creepy. Nice looking flock you have there.
Mx, how many chickens were you looking to get? Large fowl? If you have the room, I'd go with building a big coop & a run. Chicken math is inevidable, and a tractor will be way too small in no time.
to the newbies to our thread! Hope you visit often.
Awwww, cute duckies, Apyl!
Kris, I have a plastic shed for my coop. Love it! I say go for it. And that price is great for the size. I want..........
Well, that's as far as I got. Too much stuff to do today, but hopefully I'll be back later!
