    Evening all,

Well I'm down here in Wausau. I took the truck expecting to pick up the pen from Jim only to find out that TO took it. Thanks TO !!
Had I of known you were getting some I could have saved you a trip, I could have brought them down when I made my road trip practically past your your house but I guess every body has been PM ing and is getting the pens instead of the ones that have been posting on the forum.
I'll have to be more sneaky I guess. With the price of gas it sure would have been nice to know there wasn't a cage for me. I would have brought my car or may not have come down here. I thought I would get two things accomplished.

Who was it that was looking for SLW's? I found someone who has chicks. They are in the Wausau area. PM me and I will spill the beans.

Well, I'm going to go pick up the Chinese Geese on my way home, that is of course if no one has beat me to them !!

Dan & BL4, we do have a small aerator, just turned it on this week. But we don't run it 24/7; it's going to be a on a timer, not sure how many hours a day. The pond is supposedly 8 feet deep (haven't had the guts to try to touch bottom out in the middle, lol.) DH has already put in dye to curb the sunlight to the bottom, but that doesn't do anything for the shallow edges. The original owner intended it as a natural/wildlife pond, but we would like to use it for swimming too.

BL4, can you recommend literature you've seen for cleaning up waterways?

Good evening all--home finally at 7:15! We just got home a bit ago from the resturant--went out for Margaritas and Mexican tonight. Actually I went as the guest because I got home just in time! Yeah! Had a nice visit with Jim; finally met Annie and Ken...and g'ma too (but she was sleeping the whole time) We drank way too much coffee...Jim didnt want to part with any of his hen turkeys...Not that I would have had room anyhow! I had to stop 3 times on the way home cause the pens were sliding off the back end of the truck. Once they broke the baler twine...probably wouldnt have fallen off but I am pretty paranoid about that! Although then I wouldnt have to unload them tomorrow...when DH saw tham after eating he started singing the tuen from Sandford and Sons...[IMG] At least I have somewhere to put my quail!

So tomorrow I do another road trip to Madison to drop of DD20s wallet...didnt happen today. I am tired from driving for sure!

Cute chickies--the one with the mouth open looks like it is yelling! H&R--did ya hear me beep when I went past your house? All the way driving I kept seeing signs and thinking, "so and so lives there..." "oh I know someone on here lives in that town!" It was kind of entertaining.

I am off to bed...the yawning is getting to me! Sweet dreams...Terri O
