:lau Well that just about describes my farm truck, except it doesn't over heat, it isn't 4 different colors, and floor bourds don't leak exhaust yet though the bed is getting some holes so it won't be long, if Adam wouldn't haul motors and big heavy crap in that bed it wouldn't be full of holes to rust out LOL........... anyway the rest is my truck but they forgot it has like 300,000 miles and gets 11 MPG on the hwy..........LOL well actually a bit better.. Big Fam you are ariot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lau: :yuckyuck Thanks for the weather updates keep em coming he's still moving, he called in an hour or so ago, when he fueled still clear where he was............. so far so good send prayers people, he isn't one for listening too well, when he has his mind set on something........................... but I love him anyway.......... TY again Kim Og BTW it started snowing here a half hour ago big wet flakes, luckily I just got done cleaning the barn/ coop/ and horse stall, all I had to do yet was dump the trailer in the manure pile.............. brrrrrrrrrr now for 20 cuppas to warm back to room temp..........

Well my brain has just been seared with those images Thank you Big Fam. It was such a nice afternoon until that happened...

And yes, TerriO, we're hunkering down over here too. Now I'm going to go take a shower after reading BFam's story...

Snow is coming down hard here! Big wet heavy flakes. I was just out picking up DD from a sleep over, slid right past the road I needed to turn on. They are a bit further east than us and had gotten freezing rain before the snow started.

I have a sharpei/lab mix who is our "guard" dog, and our other dog is a border collie cross!! And my truck, although not having different colored fenders or hood, it will have it this year. tee hee
The wind is blowing, it seems wet out there and I need to go and throw more hay at the horses, I don't want to be out there in the dark..

OMG Big Fam..tooo dang funny!!

Looking forward to the next prolog...funny stuff..

Snow stopped.

.them Orpingtons sure like the snow.

And yes..when I remove an egg from the incubator..I open each and every egg to see why it possibly did not develope. If it started to develop I try to guage what day it might have possibly expired and look threw my notes to see if possibly it might even be a spike in temp change. All of those eggs that were clear and no veining..were in fact infertle. No bullseye. I record the findings and since I am new to shipped eggs I have taken pictures to show the breeders that they have fertility problems. Sometimes they need the information and welcome it and sometimes they do not care. With tis shipment and one of the breeders, he said he will reship me eggs as soon as he does some trimming and gets fertility up. The other breeders said..I am glad you have some fertle ones.

I have a broody!!!

Second son's silkie Snowflake is broody. She's so tiny. I don't want to put too many under her. So far I've let her have 2 silkie eggs, 2 wheaten marans x Easter egger blue eggs, and tomorrow I'll let her have 2 wheaten marans eggs. If they hatch, GREAT. If they don't, it's ok too. I'm not out any money.
