ok, had a lot to say but after reading the last 2 pages and can't remember a thing!!!

ONly saying thanks to Unkadan, Jim and the rest of you for the "heads up" about the poster from Winter. First time I had even looked at that page of CL. So glad I have you guys to get the real scoop from.

(except about Daisy dukes, stripper poles, heavy equipment and something about bent rods???? )

You guys REALLY need for spring to get here, eh?????

Hi all--nothing coming down here. We did get and inch or 2 of snow as I was on my way to the grocery store....yes...it was slippery. My friend wanted me to get her a pack of TP while I was there. She is an odd duck (NO comments, please) My phone didnt work in the store and she left me a message that I should get the SINGLE rolls NOT the doubles cause they were just a stop-gap until she could get to the store. Oh cripes...not like it will go to waste--REALLY? Now there is a woman that can go on and on and on and on about a pack of TP...so weird for me to have an unusual friend!
SO anyhow, I went to the store to get spice jars and spices for DD's B-day...HOLY CRIPES!
[I wanted to get the Roundy's brand organic spices cause I liked the jars (square glass, labeled, with metal tops) and they fit nicely in the iron rack I got at St Vinnie's] So 18 jars fit in the rack...18x$4.49 a pop! That was an expensive spice rack! I kinda wish that DH hadnt bought her a Chrome Book too....and then---
DD26 and I are making a Fishbowl for DDsoontobe21's birthday (it is on the 28th) Here is a pic of half of it...we have to do the other half after it is dry. She is amazed that neither DH nor I know what she meant by "a Fishbowl" DH actually thought I was getting her a new fish!

So anyhow...I guess you need to have one of these to drink out of on your 21st b-day. Maybe so you look completely cool when you are wasted and the bowl is broken on your passed out body? I am heading to dinner with them and then coming home! I really dont want to know...I am glad that DD26 will be along with them...I know that DS23 wont be any help. (God I have great kids!)

Well I WAS going to get outside before it got dark...not happening. DH put some meat on the grill and said it was sleety rainy out there right now. I will wait a bit. Of course I took my horse's blanket off today and left it outside on the fence!

I am glad I have a dry one in the barn! Sure hope it fits him!
Guess I better go on out...critters are hungry I am sure! Later!

Hey all Well Adam is safely parked for the night on Hwy 20 and 80, about 76 miles from his destination in Bedford park.........guess Indiana is getting some nice ice/snow/rain mix, he said the roads were getting terrible so he pulled in a parking spot and is camping till morning.......... Thank God and at least he is safe.
so anyway here is a few pictures I took the other day of the girls eating some scrap and suet from our cow when the sun was out and from this crappy storm right after it started its coming down good here we got a couple inches already now when i did chores a half hour ago............. so later Kim

Hey everyone...just enjoying a little quiet time...I'm down in southern mn and we had some nasty weather...it was so icy piggie had a horrible time going outside...I was so worried about her. Pigs on ice...not nice. Tried to get her to got outside tonight..nope. She hightailed to her kennel and hasn't come out.
Worked on cleaning the 6yr olds room....I have never let any of my kids rooms get that bad...won't do that again. We also cleaned cages and played with chicks. Pretty productive day.
Interesting reading about people buying eBay eggs and hatching success. I bought button quail eggs..out of 15 eggs...only 1 hatched. And out of 2 dozen turkey eggs...where the breeder guaranteed...but didn't stand behind it....not a single one hatched. My young chicken friend recently bought eggs too....zero success rate. Doesn't sound like the best way to get what one is looking for.
Reading about the get togethers...is there on being hosted in western wi? I'd come...especially if there's camping.

I suppose I'm going to go play a little online before the fam gets back home. Have a great evening everyone.

Denise-We are hoping to organize one on this side of WI this summer!!! There is a reeally fun one over on the east side fo the state as well that I went to last year-got to meet a lot of the crazy chicken people on this website ;-)

Thats my Lacy she is an EE SLW cross, don't have any Fav's..
