Ah....done reading...and almost ALL the pot is gone! Gray and grayer here today after a lightening storm most of the night. At 3:45 there was a crack of thunder that practically shot me out of bed! I think the lightening struck something up on the hill...the whole house shook! That got me right up and I was awake for another hour wondering what got hit. Gout out of bed by 8 though...I sure wish the darn dogs would stop barking in their kennels after DD leaves for work! So tired of waking up to that. If it would only get nice out they could stay outside all night!
That is what I wanted to do to them!
Congrats on the new addition Colton. I feel sorry for the sister! LOL! Sounds like busy times ahead for your family...or should I say BUSIER?
OK--time to go outside! TErriO

Sheesh Mel--you sure get a lot done for being sick!Unk, you are funny...
Did the taxes, not the results I wanted but at least Uncle Sam did not have my $ to spend wastefully! Someday I will figure it out so that the total is $0.
Transplanted the tomatoes this morning, and then I planted my Basil, Parsley, Brussels Sprouts, Romanesco Broccoli, marigolds, and 4 O'Clocks. Baked a cake for my co-workers 50th birthday celebration tomorrow, and took a nap. I guess it was a productive day even though I sat on the computer for a lot of it.
DH made dinner; meat and veggies. Nice healthy meal....![]()
I am glad to hear that you have mud also! I would hate to be accused hogging all the mud in my own yard! Cant even walk out there without slipping around. The ducks and geese are loving it though. The picture of the Wyandottes was taken in November. Even though we don't have ducks, thanks to our seven full size girls and the neighbors flock of seven, there is plenty of mud to go around. My cute little "dottes" are now dirty little "dottes"![]()
That is really a nice sitting area! Do you ever get to sit there? Did your DH do the barn repair? I need to get mine done! I love the glass block idea for more light in there. My foundation is crumbling and looks to be the same age as yours.
Yeah...perhaps she should. I could take mine inside and let them swim in my basement right now!You might need to get some ducks too !!!!
Wow...SEVEN BOYS! (hear that BigFam?) You are now is second place...I know how you hate to be bested so perhaps you will be getting busy?My mom JUST had a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm 13) The oldest of 7, now 8. Woke up this morning to find mom and dad gone. Called and said they were fine,, and HAD A BABY BOY!!!!!!!! 7 boys now. SO EXCITED, (skipping school), TO GO SEE IT!!!

Congrats on the new addition Colton. I feel sorry for the sister! LOL! Sounds like busy times ahead for your family...or should I say BUSIER?
This is what I thought about when I saw Judge's "beautiful" picture! Our trees are down too but from a heavy snow storm a month or so ago. Branches everywhere! When those old box elders get snow or ice on them down they go! Too bad about the siding! Maybe you can get all new now? Yeah right...I have been trying that for quite a while now!Good morning!! Congrats olton!!!!
Horrible weather. :'( :'( the ice ripped out the power lines to the barn. Which in turn ripped the siding off the house. Hubby ( builds houses) does not think he can find a siding to match our old stuff! We just painted last summer. (When I say we I mean he) lol
All my poor trees have lost sooo many branches :'( :'( :'( :'(
Oh yes....SUCH a nice spring! Jim I want to hear you singing that White July 4th song at the bash...maybe after a few swigs off of BigZ's flask?EVERYTHING is covered in ice up here and the pine trees are all sagging from the weight of it. We're lucky to have power from the looks of it - a lot of folks around here are in the dark. Lots of accidents on the icy roads so I'm staying put for now. The chickens have plenty to eat inside the coop.
