Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Post it either in the "free rehoming" or "buy/sell/trade" section. Easier to find there by people looking for Ur roo!
I don't see any regional sections over there, are there any? Obviously shipping is not an option and I can't imagine anyone wanting to drive very far for a rooster. I might be stuck processing them in a couple of weeks even though they're small.

mortie, there are a few folks here that raise Ameraucanas perhaps tell what color they are and where the stock came from might get some interest

I know that mine don't crow until around 7-8 months,,,if that helps

I've got 2 blue and one splash, which is not a "correct" ameracauna color, but he would produce correct colored offspring (and I just think he's pretty anyway lol). I had a black one but found a home for him.

I guess I could just hope they stay quiet for a few more weeks. I've got a couple of second generation sex link roos that are the same age but twice their size. I don't think there's any meat on the ameracaunas at all yet.

Good morning. I joined BYC recently and wanted to introduce myself to the other cheeseheads on the board. :) I'm in the Lake Nebagamon area.

I've had chickens for almost a year. This year we brought home some turkeys and more guineas.

Welcome to all the new people!!

I just wanted to let people know I am selling some of my last years hens. I have one blue Marans hen, and she is in moult. I have one Cuckoo Marans hen. (Pure bred and will be 2 years old in October)
The rest are all cross breeds either bred to my Orpingtons or my Wyandottes. I have one pullet that is not laying yet.
All of these birds but the Marans have been vaccinated for Mareks.
I am selling them for $8 a bird. I have 9 hens available.

I would also like to welcome the new folks

I was waiting for our new "official greeter" but apparently he was out carousing last night and is sleeping in this morning

Good morning!
Welcome to all the new people :)
The kitten is doing very well. We are on the third day. And it is thriving. Hopefully this means we are doing something right!
Just had a wonderful visit with zeeeeek :) chciken and egg swapping.
Teri, he liked those roosters. So you picked good ones ;)
Finally got a couple of those Marans chicks.
Wade Jean lines. I am very excited about them.
I am going to plop into the lazyboy, and relax now!
