I had Stella once. Pretty tasty I just never really think to get it I guess. So listen to this crap. Last fall I started saving for my ice shack. Well my dryer siht the bed so I took my shack money to buy one and resaved up for a shack. Went to buy my shack Christmas Eve and they were sold out so I got a rain check and went on my way. Hit a deer that night and had to use my shack cash for the deductible. Saved up again after that mess and finally got my shack on January 20. Well last night I finally had a chance to do the little bit of assembly required and I brought the huge box in the house.....and it's the wrong f'ing one and they're not getting anymore this year. Gonna have to wait til next year now

I have two shacks mounted on sleds. both are in need of repair. I should just toss them onto the burn pile.

I think next summer is going to be "throw away things" season

Chicken update: first green egg since about November, so that was exciting.

Hope you and Annie start feeling better soon, Jim. Sorry to hear about the t-bone, I prefer the beef variety myself, but have had your kind too.

I haven't had any fertility issues with my silkies...my roo takes his job seriously. lol. I only have 2 and my hen decided a week or so ago that now would be a good time to take a break on egg laying...shes been laying 5 a week all winter. Guess she didn't get the memo we were going to incubate. I have 3 in the incubator...early candling shows development but one of the eggs is mishapen...longer, flatter than egg shape, so not sure if that one will survive.

Nice sunny chilly day here today. Yep, I was gonna ask the same thing about the great horned owl. They took a mature bald eagle to the raptor center that was found in a Kaukauna park a week or so ago....They took a blood sample to determine what the problem was, but it died before the results were back and never mentioned so far anyway what caused it's death.

I was always gonna shop Trigs when I get to Wausau, but never did. Their adds for their brats on TV look tasty.

Pretty chilly day of fishing since I DIDNT HAVE A SHACK!!!! Did pretty decent tho. My Niece and nephew had a blast. We had a ton of flags. Got enough northerns for a few quarts of pickled goodness.

good afternoon,
I just finished watching PGA . one guy won a Honda by getting a hole in one.

I put the carb on Ollie. It would have been a no problem job if only I didn't drop my tiny wrench and a small screwdriver into the snow. I didn't find either of them. once I got that hose clamp on and the gas turned on, all was great. only had to turn the main jet a quarter turn and I was off down the driveway. I did a half-arse job of plowing. the ground underneath the snow was not frozen.

I just basically slid the bucket over the snow and packed it down.

got a dozen eggs again today.

I let the chickens out. they are back in the coop already.

I took pictures of the smashed car. but I mislaid my camera.
I can't understand how I can lose a camera that easily. I thought I put it on the kitchen table. I am betting that someone moved it. of course, nobody will admit to that ..

Corey, do you ever fish on Pelican ?
there is an island with a nice cottage with a sun-porch with lots of windows.. I built that sun porch..

I did a lot of work for the people who own that cabin.
