shes a chilly b this morning holy balls. Crazy Sunday will be 50 again. Off to get my hair did this morning then home for a few chores I've put off during the week and some napping before the wife gets home. She's got a list of things we gotta do tonite so I best be well rested

Hi, we're back from Tomah, almost went there for no reason.
the Wausau VA did not send over the Dr order for the X-ray.

they can say what they want about Tomah VA, but they handled it promptly and without incident. I never had a bad appt over there.
all the people are nice and helpful. and you can pass this on..

We ate at Arby's and came home via every back road there is between Tomah and Wausau. we followed Dave's gps.
my recomendation : don't do it . stick to the main routes.
there are back roads that are still snow covered and slippery.

I think my GS must feel like a drink is due after helping me with my puter woes.. but hey, that's why we had kids so they could have kids who can help us with the latest technology.
In the meantime I will plow the driveway..

touch on the chilly side this morning but it looks like it's gonna be a nice day and weekend. Another busy one. Next weekend it's time to build a pig hut and put in the fencing

good chilly yet morning,

corey, pigs do not generally poop where they eat and sleep if they can help it. so make your outside pen as large as you can for their "bathroom".

in the hot summer, provide a mud hole for them. keeping in mind that the hole will gradually become deeper as they walk out of it with mud on themselves. so make the muc hole a little way away from the fence or it will not be long before they could crawl out under the fence.

to start out, fence them inside your garden. in a couple of weeks there will not be a blade of grass or weed showing. and lots of rocks will be lying on top of the ground. pick up the rocks, till the garden and you are set to go..

yup they're going on the garden right away. I'm doing a 16x32 pen and a 8x8 house for them for starters. Started buying feed already to get ahead of that part too

Suzies Grandma would bury one of those cheap kiddy pools flush with the ground to create a mud hole or be used for the geese and ducks. They all seemed happy.

I actually picked one of those up off the side of the road last fall anticipating my pigs this year. I also got a galvanized feeder for free. Gotta head to the church for service and the baptism shortly. Hopefully the ceiling doesn't cave in when I walk in
