Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

waiting for the Packer game to start.
in the mean time I went out into the cold garage and tuned up the jointer.
I tried a method I saw on utube.
long story short. it worked.
I no longer have to deal with snipes.
the boards are coming out smooth as a
baby's hinder.

I am so happy right now, I don't even care if the pack wins or loses tonight.. well, not really, but just about..

Good to hear that you are happy with your new jointer.
Best Wishes to the Pack, but unless we see added zip on the passes, the Steelers are gonna romp the Pack ..... in my opinion. He throws the ball up for easy peasy pics...... he won't be in Green Bay next year, I'm hoping........ :wee

GO PACK!

He holds the ball too long before tossing it.
He also turns his back to down field and
loses sight of where his receivers are.
he drops back too far too often..
he gets paid a good amount of American $$$'s. he should be earning his keep.
IMHO

drops back too far.

Happy post Thanksgiving everyone!!! Hope you all survived the eating and family craziness. Oh, and the post holiday shopping.
Survived all here, well mostly. Took a nasty fall on Saturday (all good now) and my checkbook is on life support (not all my fault this time, DH went to "look around" and we now have his and hers snowthrowers) but I survived!!! Actually our Thanksgiving was very uneventful. Just the DH and I. Deer hunters went home early this year. Quiet and nice. No deer here (buck only) but we know there is still a nice one on the property. Hubby is a bow hunter so he hopes to take it later if we ever get more snow.

Glad to hear about your score Jim! Love it when you come across those kind of deals that are too good to even dicker the price about. I see lots of winter fun in your future.

Well now I need to get outside and do some stuff I should never be able to get done this late in the year. Have a great post Thanksgiving, pre Christmas week everyone.

I post to so many places I don't always remember where I said what. so if I repeat myself , bear with me.

I have the jointer all tuned up and running great.
now I am going to go and try tuning the old 4" jointer..
today I am going to the steel yard and try to snag a couple of cut-off pieces of angle iron and flat stock.

yesterday I traded 2 frozen chickens for two hind quarters and a rib cage of venison..
they are in the freezer until I get time to hack them up..

the guys got 2/4 bucks on Friday.
they came and borrowed my meat grinder yesterday.

Finally finished cutting up all the deer...good to be able to get at things like more wood in the basement, and some maple leaves raked and tossed into the covered pens for free bedding that the girls surely enjoy for the months to come all Winter long.
In the kitchen Jim, the bread roll recipe makes the best loaves of bread, as well as cinnamon rolls.....they are to die for....

Have a bantam cockreal free to good home. Not to be eaten. After all a bantams not real good for eating. Its an Easter egger would be a great addition to your breeding program or a fun addition to your flock. I live in waukesha county.
