Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

What kind of guinea is he?
I am in Kewaskum WI

he is just a guinea. if you use it for breeding, you will get just about any color of keets.. I guess he is brown . ish ?
no matter , he is free..I think he has adopted me as his "flock".

the Pack sure pulled out a squeaker today.
they must be good, how many teams do you know of that can give up a 17 point lead and still win ??

it rained like crazy earlier. a little rumble of thunder, too.

I am living like the rich and famous today.
still in my pajamas and bathrobe ..
really nice to not have to go out and feed birds..

I can't believe that it was 62 degrees on my way home from work, with a stiff wind blowing from behind to help with the gas mileage. It is December for goodness sake! I sure hope we don't pay for this later this winter.
Deer is all processed and in the freezer. We haven't had deer in the freezer for almost 10 years. Venison meatloaf for supper last night, yum!

good morning,
well,, Wyo, it is winter today for sure. I guess now we will start paying for the good times.

I am not getting anything accomplished lately.
I have a couple of sticky doors that should tale about 10 minutes to fix. maybe that will be by goal for today. at least it is inside the house work..

GS and his GF split up. she moved out yesterday, yaaaah !! now maybe the rest of us can have a shot at using the bathroom..
We told him that no more women here. go to their apartment from now on..
I am not 100% against living together, but not a new one every six months. not in my house..

I just came in from outside, 17F my fingers are cold.

I got all the doors tuned up. no more rubbing, no more bolts hitting high. all four doors took about 20 minutes total to fix.

GS announced that he and his new GF are thinking of getting an apartment .. fine with me. as soon as he leaves, that small bedroom will become a second bathroom with the washer and dryer in there, too..
but with him gone, we won't really need the extra bathroom, will we ??...
See???? there IS a God ..

bil came over today to help me layout the hidden dog fence ..
we do not work well together.
he thinks one way, I think another.

Good morning! Great job on the doors, Jim.
We are up to 23 degrees here with plenty of sunshine. The front of the coop (facing south) was almost balmy. Tin can light bulb "heaters" are keeping the water from freezing. I have to lug about 2 gallons of water down with me. We had eight eggs yesterday, so production is picking up.

Yep, cold sunny, windy day here today. We have been busy yet with the harvest. Freezing Winter squash, and canning potatoes. We canned 21 quarts of potatoes today. They make the best cheezy potatoes, and don't take long to make when they are on the menu. I still have 6 big squash to freeze. I have no idea how many quarts of those we froze, but they are shared with the kids and nothing goes to waste.
We have a 4 day holiday hunt for does that started today. I might participate, but not today...just to busy to go hunting. The grinder processed 160lbs of burger so far...money in the bank for all the hunters here.

Stay Warm.... bigz
