Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good chilly morning to everyone. Just got the boys bathed, dressed, happy and content, looking forward to what I can get done today...and the stupid phone goes off.

No Saturday for me, gotta head in for 2 neurologic dogs, one with a disc rupture in the neck that can't walk, the other with a probable disc rupture in the back that can't move its rear limbs. (Why do the back dogs always come out on the weekends?)

Gonna go let dogs out and head in.

Quote:
So little Chicky Foo Foo went pecking through the barnyard, pecking on insects and bopping them on the head.. When along came a fat goat who said, "Little Chicky Foo Foo, you mustn't peck on insects, and bop them on the head. You must eat them. If I see you pecking on little insects I'll push the door down on you and STEP on YOU."
The next day little Chicky Foo Foo went pecking through the barnyard, pecking on insects and bopping them on the head.
When suddenly the coop door fell on poor chicky Foo Foo, and the Fat goat squashed Foo Foo flat, and up to heaven Foo Foo went.
The morale of this story is that chickens should eat their insects and not bop them, and that fat pygmy goats can be evil.
Oh and not name their baby chickens Foo Foo.. otherwise strange people like me will write parables about them.

Gots tons more done already but holding off on siliconing in the vanity and shower stall, got to thinking they must make a rubber adhesive backed seal that would look better. Needs looking into. Not painting the ceiling today. The brush needs to dry. Ya that's it.

just fluffy

It was nice meeting you too, and thank you so much for meeting me there. I really REALLY appreciated it. The ducks are settling in good. It was a crazy house the first day, but now everyone is chilling out. Which one did you say again was the drake? I know the one with white on the wings was a hen...then there are the solids...one large and one smaller. Was the drake the smallest?

I need help folks...

My barn owner is in the hospital having had a stroke, please send prayers.
She was in overnight in the hospital m/t evening, a possible minor stroke, didn't feel well on thurs, and had another minor stroke yesterday, so was in the hospital overnight.
Today she may have had another one, bigger. Every scan possible yesterday, and pysh/occ/speech therapists made assessments today.
I am worried sick about her, she is like my adopted mom.

I have a place to move my horses, as it will likely be necessary in the near future.

I have found homes for 70% of my chickens.
Its the remaining 30% I am worried about. I have spent a long time getting most of these birds they are young, may be show quality, and are laying now.
I have a trio of bantam cochins, blue roo w/black hens, a pair of clean legged frizzle cochin bantams.
A trio of old english game bantams, gold duckwingx w/ black breasted red hens.
My silkie quad, w/2 bonus silkie pullets (likely).
my two polish bantams, 1 is a buff lace, the other is a gold lace frizzle.
And a golden sebright hen.
Oh and two ducks, 1 call drake, 1 white mallard hen.
And one cross bred but gorgeous and polite roo, standard size.
Any one interested?
Please let me know
