Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good morning! I only have a few minutes 'cause I have to cook today...sure hope "the boss" got me enough food to work with...I am trying to step up the food there (at least on my days) and she is claiming that she hears it from the "big boss" and the board about the groceries costing too much...all I am asking for is parsley and fresh lemon--GEESH!
THe babies made it fine last night. They were all bopping around in their box this AM. All their food was gone though so I suspect that someone hopped in their and helped them eat! The dogs are spending the day in the outside kennel today. DD said she thought that is was unfair for them to spend all day in their crates in the house...that is why she let them stay out.

I know plenty of dogs that spend the day in a crate...
THis is good weather for ducks SF! Inside or out at your place I guess

too bad about the leak...sounds a lot like my bathroom ceiling! ("are you SURE you fixed the leak?" "yup") Big hole in the drywall from leaking again!

Are you planning on ripping out the whole thing? Leaks are soooo tricky! Oh Yeah, the place next door to me is for sale...just sayin'!

Well I'd better be getting off of here...I want to feed before I have to leave. Sounds like a chilly day for today--only 40! Looks like the rain will abate on Friday--man I sure hope so! I want to get my lettuce garden planted! I was just commenting to DH last night that we had greens 6" tall at this time last year! Everything will be a full month late! Bring on some sunshine! Have a fantastic day! (which means you have to make your own sunshine today!) Terri O

Oh man, I admit to rushing out the door sometimes and forgetting to crate the dog, but I know that he should be in the crate or he gets up to stuff.

Luckily we´ve never lost anyone as a result. It helps that heś a shortstack and it takes him a lot of effort to reach things. (He´s a Cardigan Welsh Corgi)

Thanks for all of the well wishes, guys! Weŕe really hoping! I´ve dedicated the last year to this ordinance change, and educated a lot of people. Maybe by this time next year I´ll be answering specific bird questions rather than broad care questions. One can only hope!

a couple of late chicks this morning,, and another goose pip.. (2)

can you go into the wall oposite the shower stall? leaks suck..
I had a bad leak once where a plumber I was forced to hire for code reasons forgot to tighten the supply to the water heater .. was a brand new construction.. I ended up replacing a good chunk of a drywall ceiling.. Yeah right, hire a "professional" to do the job right..

ask your daughter,
what difference does it make where the dog sleeps all day? In a crate or on the kitchen floor?

So much excitement and I love seeing those babies so keep them coming. I am having my surgery tomorrow on my tonsils and adenoids so will be out of it for a few days. Hope my kids can keep up with the chickens for me. they love them so should not be a problem.

Never ask what's next!!! The forcast tonight has the evil "S" word in it! Snow!!! Yuck!! Don't get me wrong, I love snow and sleet and cold, but geesh! Stop teasing me with Spring and then take it all back with snow!!! Enough already! It is almost May but Miss May sure does not want to come to the dance in her Spring dress!!!!!! I guess she did not get the memo...

Kristip-how you surgery goes well and I'll send a prayer and get well wished your way!

Now this is why I LOVE spell-check!

Good evening!
Hey Kristip--good vibes to you for your surgery! My Daughter had that at 18 and did great! I am sure it will all go well and the kids will do a great job too!
NO WAY---NOT SNOW! I heard that on Friday it was supposed to be sunny!? I was hoping to get started planting my garden! I am geographically challenged...is Albion waaay up North? I guess I will have to take a look now!

Lucky our Amyable...Take RAIMNEL up on it! More chickens for you!
Looks like my tenderloins are about done...gotta go have another delicious dinner! All this cooking--they told me at the Pines today that I better stop making stuff so fancy or I would become the permanent cook! Hah! I guess I would need a really big raise! I know I could do a better job than the present cook...but it's not up to me!

OOOH--It smells delicious!!! Have a great evening everyone! Terri O

Man--I guess now we are waiting for DD25 to get home....(that chickie killer!)

Yeah--I hear ya on that thing! Some people just dont know how to tell their kids NO Some I swear have never heard the word! I have a friend that has 3 kids and they go out and milk cows and the kids are as good as gold. They know what they can do and what they cant...some kids cant even be left alone when they are 6 or even older...dont get me started! I did daycare for 20 years and the parents always said, "how come they listen so well to you?" DUH.....

Man I sure wish she would get home! I am starving! DH says, "Let's eat!" SO I guess we are....later! Terri O
