Watertown Pigeon Club Pet Swap. Jefferson Co. Fairgrounds, Jefferson, WI. 7 a.m.-noon. Anyone bringing chickens, game birds, guineas, and/or turkeys must have pullorum papers. You will need to sell out of your own cages, because of a recent fire at the fairgrounds.





Ha that fire was a few years ago now. I am the superintendent of the Cultural Arts Department at the fair and some of my stuff for display got burned up too. I think the big issue is that the poultry and rabbit department do not want to share their cages and longer! I will be there regardless--cant wait! Terri O

Afternoon all! Hello Hello, must all be outside. Got my share of fresh air and sun too! It was wunnerful! Had a great time with the kids got to pick up and chat with each and every one. Even Peaches. He's not fond of it but tolerates me and doesn't go wild. Must be his upbringing. Thanks again fordmommy! It was really nice to have the time to do so. Bur Bur Bur? BUR BUR BUR BUR! Oh bur bur bur bur bur. Burrrr burrrr. Brownie said she wanted hot chocolate in the mornings with marshmellows. Where in the H..L did that come from? Elvis' comb has healed nicely using the bag balm. I was touching it and she didn't move and inch think she thought I was applying some more of that soothing good stuff. I just can't help it I really do love em! They are all individuals with their own personalities. There's 4 hens out there right now staring at the snow covered picnic table. They like it up there guess I have a little more to do today. Spoiled rotten so and so's.

Threw some Savoy Brown in the juke box and am making pineapple right side up cake. I don't bother flippin it, tastes the same. Weird who'da thought? But anyway it came to my tiny little mind. I wonder what the others taste in music is? The one that I really wonder about is Bigzio. I've gathered that we're not too far apart in age but that doesn't mean anything. So how about it Bigz what makes you tap your toes, dance with Suzie in the kitchen, sing when even people are around? What words put to a beat makes you smile? I figure on throwing some tunes in the Jeep just to make everyone talk louder. I personally like any music as long as it's good.

It's true! I just know The First Annual Bigzio Bash is going to be a hoot! I was looking at some of the earlier posts and realized there are several people who have not been on for quite awhile. Hope their OK. And some that were thought to be new people when in fact they had been here before. Hard to keep up. Cakes done. Sleep well! Sweet dreams! I won't gonna have a belly ache, too much desert!

Well I went sturgeon spearing today. I don't even have a tag my uncle likes to go and is up in age so I help him get ready and sit with him to ease my aunts mind. Well about 10:30 or so the shack right next to us about 60 yards away got a fish and not the ordinary sturgeon. This thing is the new state record it's 212 lbs. I have seen the sturgeons spawning my whole life and never seen anything this big. I took pics with my phone but don't know if I can get them on here. It took four guys a long time to get this thing out of the hole. What a giant!! Well that was my day. Mike

DrH...you made my day today.

In terms of music...here on the hill our love for music can only be explained as being quite eclectic. The songs played and listened to here are more than most enjoy. The concerts we've enjoyed over the years include way more than I can type. Music fills the air here daily, with the same station on the radio only lasting awhile. Tired of oldies, switch....tired of country, switch....tired of rock, switch. Big Cheese 107.9 plays often. It's just one of many.

I'll try to rattle off the concerts and places on paper sometime. The list of places and groups would take some thought!

My Grandaughter had her 4 year old party today! She had fun with her cousins. Me & Suzie slammed a few beers, sang happy b-day and headed home in time to lock-up the flock.

The snowmobile trail runs along the old railroad near me. They were really tearing up the trails today. Must be kinda get er done thing before the trails close for the season, or melt away.

Mike, I saw that monster on the news. It is quite old. My friend is spearing in fondy. I haven't heard from him today. I'm hoping i end up with some sturgeon steaks though.

We just got back from snowmobiling. And you're right, Bigzio! TONS of people out there today. But the trails were still pretty good. A lot of BIG groups. 10-15 sleds in some.

It was a great day for it, that's for sure.

Wish me luck everyone on some eggies I'm bidding on. It ends tomorrow around 8am. We really want these. They're just like the one in my 4yr old's favorite book. Minerva Louise and the Red Truck. If you ever get a chance to read it.....it's great. We laugh so hard we almost pee our pants!

I WILL have to bring it to the party.

We are headed into lockdown tomorrow am with our 4 test eggs-hopefully we will have a few hatch on Feb 17th or so. On top of that we found out that we can go and pick up the Blue Andalusian chicks, that our daugher will be raising for 4-H(she is very excited), tomorrow afternoon.

I prefer country music but will listen to just about anything for awhile

Snowmobile traffic might have been high due to the big Fire on Ice thing at the Waupaca Co. Fairgrounds this weeked.

Beautiful day in Chi-town today! IKEA was PACKED!!!!! Glad to be home though; the hour to my cousins, then the hour and a half to my friend in Belgium, then another 2 hours to get home.... I really put the miles on today!!!

Those IL drivers need to read license plates; if it says WI then I am NOT going to drive like a complete boob beeping every five minutes!

Happy to be home in my own bed... too bad back to business as usual tomorrow.

ceadarpost; Nice to have an excuse to go fishin. You get an atta boy for easing your Aunts mind. Now you can say you were there when the big one was caught. I'm jealous! Bigz That's the station I listen to when I get close enough to pull it in. Don't know what I did to make your day but glad it happened. Just bein me I guess. Only a few days left before the hatches begin.

Good luck just remember we're all countin on ya. Glad fordmommy got out and did some sledding! Beautiful day for it! Like I've said I like any music as long as it's good! My least favorite is the new country but occasionally hear a song that has merit. Oddly enough it's L's favorite kind. That's the only thing that we don't have in common. Sure glad I met her

She's working today so I get dish detail while waiting for it to warm up a little for outside stuff. Throwing some pig chops on the grill later that have been marinading in pineapple juice and brown sugar and a side of sweet corn from the freezer. Have a great day!
