Yes Terri O... i know her "insider" info.. just didnt know if F&F was the best stop(besides that source... where do you find coupons?_)
... JJ.. not sure where Orfordville is...we used to have a nice local feed store that went out of business about 4 years ago, right when I got into chickens... of course. How do their prices compare with F&F?
Ok everyone is having fun at Terrio's...guess that is where our next meetup should be. Just put us all to work. My kids love going over to Carols farm to help water and feed her animals... they fight over who gets to feed the chickens and pup at home... why cant they fight over dishes or cleaning bathrooms... or making my dinner... that is what I want to know.
Ok have to find my last few presents for the holidays and start wrapping and get our tree up. That is my plan for the weekend. exciting stuff!
Google them.
Days Feed Orfordville. WI
google will offer a map and you can get directions and see how far they are from you.
The Day family is real down to earth. They are on their 3rd generation at that location, and SHE is doing her level best to stay in business.
The price on feed is close to F&F if not cheaper. They also run promotions like buy 10 get 1 free and you don't have to take 11 all at once, They keep track of your purchases and when you get to 10 you get a free one.
Last year the customer appreciation day deal was buy 2 get 1 free. That was nice.
Now when Farm and Fleet puts feed on sale I can't bring myself to buy it there. It is worth the extra 50 cents to me to shop with people I know.
They order day old chicks with no minimum and you pick em up at the store from the brooder in the showroom.
.
They also sell dog, cat, horse, cow, game, wild bird, and pig foods as well.
The next time I go in there I am going to ask for a big thank you for this commercial I just typed for them.
They have just started having their own mixes made at Delongs mill to sell under their own label.
