These are my new wyandotte babies!!!

Evening everyone. Boy its been a full day. I had our first poultry project meeting today for our 4-H club, at my house. I loved being able to talk chickens without being looked at like I'm nuts lol. The kids got a kick out of how calm my flock is and how easy it is to catch the chickens. Look like I'll be setting some chicken eggs for a friend and her family :) I got them hooked on the idea of chickens :). For our next meeting we'll be discussing embryo development and feather sexing so should be fun. If I get the eggs in before the end of the month they should be hatched for the next meeting. Oh and I have this red mystery chicken that I thought was a sex link, she was found downtown by one of the bars and a neighbor brouht her to me since she knew we had chickens. Well while outside I was informed she may not be a sex link cause the red sex link one of the members family had were smaller and looked different. So I guess she is truly my red mystery hen lol. Other than that, my day was spent cleaning, catching up on laundry, collecting eggs, and cooking corned beed and cabbage mmm mmm mmmmm. Well hope everyone has a nice St. Patricks day.
If you can post a pic of your red hen, we love to guess at such things.

Working on my second Irish Coffee...... mmmmmm

TO, I was also thinking I would bring my ice cream makers to the bash. They are the hand crank style and make the required 5 qts per maker, so we could keep the kiddos busy and then the menfolk....

besides, there is nothing better than hand cranked ice cream!

Dinner was a success! There is NO CB left at all! Kids had a blast, and so did the adults. Mom loved the cheesecake, and apparently everyone else liked it since there is only 3 pieces left!

DH and oldest DS are off on a milk run. I am so grateful that we found a source for milk...... there is nothing better.

Everyone enjoy their evening!

Happy St Patrick's To All... I get to be a pimp for the day....Peevish Mc Knob... here...so stay in line girls and show me the Green!

Nice pics again today....I think the cold weather at Beaver dam today is exactly how it is at Neisville every year on the hill there. Glad you guys all had fun, that's the main theme.

I would of waited and planted the squash right in the warm soil bl4...they don't transplant well if you disturb the roots at all....plant some seeds at the same time, and they will pass up the transplants if they go into shock. Just sayin

Every Sunday i hope for a warmer week ahead. let's hope this is the last sunday with a poor forecast.

Thanks CC...a little better today, but far from good...dang it! Good to see Junior in the top 10 again...sooner than later he will be seeing checkerd again...jennie was pleased with the #5 car!

Nice lookin supper TO. We had orange chicken with baked spuds.

Have fun...bigz
