We have some jersey giants, a Russian Orloff, and some partridge rocks left at work. A neighbor (Mrs. Pittman) of one the the cheeseheads is picking up 5 tonight, but the rest are up for grabs. I wonder if there is anyone in or near Amery that has more egg orders than they can handle and would need some really cool chickens to add to their flock? hmmmm

And one of Meghanns quick standby cookie recipes that are delish:
1 cup Peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
You can dip fork in sugar and create criss crosses to make tops fancy
350 for 12 mins

OH wow do those sound delish...... How many does that make ?

Don't know how I forgot to mention this in my posts last night or today but ..................It's a GIRL !!!!!
My niece is pregos again and found out yesterday that we are having another girl joining us !!! So my little yellow head grand niece Addie is going to have a baby sister !!!!

I know Daddy was hoping for a boy but you know how that goes.... once you find out what it is you are just as excited !!! This will save Auntie FrenchToast a lot of money. I just bought Addie a pink and white bubble lawn mower !! Now I don't need to buy the blue and red one.
Don't have to worry, I have two ponies just waiting for little girls too !!! Any future boys can have the donkeys !!! lol

Darn BBP...wish you were closer. My friend who just got her coop up and running is finding that she has alot of roosters in her group and would love to add about 3 more pullets to her flock. Anyone close to madison have some younger, nicer birds that are close to laying? Her others are about 14 weeks old. 3 of 11 are confirmed roosters...two more are a toss up.

Yes, they are pullets. I took an Orloff home and may get a partridge rock tomorrow if they are still there. I don't need any giants though. Jon is so excited about these 12 hives of bees. He goes out there about every hour and stares at them. The girl that owns them sells honey by the barrel! She said we can have as much as we want. I think 2 qts will last me a year. Maybe I'll bring some to the bash as a raffle or white elephant next year. It will be raw.
