Hi All!
Such a nice day! I wanted to get so much done but realized with this d@mn cracked (or broke) rib I wasn't going to get much done.

Why couldn't this have happen when it was going to be too hot and humid to do anything anyway!

Bf4m.... I think we've all had times like that with our hubbys. Yep, find a few minuets for yourself!

Yep, as with any animal, there are going to be people who get them and find out it wasn't a good match. Sure, there are always people that get tired of an animal etc. But then, to be fair, sometimes s#it happens and people reluctantly HAVE to give them up.

Well, I got woke up at 9:00 by young son urgently saying "Mom, you got to patch me up, I took a hunk out of my finger!" Yep, it was bleeding pretty good. Took an almost dime size chunk out of the side of the tip of his left index finger. OUCH!!! Got him patched up but he's going to have a nice scar. BTW he was taking aluminum frames off of some windows so he could scrap them.

Well, time for bed... Night All!

So, everyone is wondering where I am.... Here I am and I'm all alone on here !!!!

So... I'll be the last to post for the night (still night because I haven't gone to bed yet) and I'll be the first to post for the day.... so there !!!!

Short story longer.... The tech at the sleep study said I slept good once I got to sleep. I struggled getting to sleep, took two antihistamines, then after what seemed like hours I told her I needed to take an ambien ! 5:30 or 5:45 came way to early !!!! She said I didn't have the right requirements (not her words, just mine cause I CRS) for her to put the CPAP on. I don't have Sleep Apnea, which we already knew. Had a few other minor issues that she said will be on the report... who knows if it was the upper airway resistance syndrome or ???

So after washing the goop out of my hair I left the building (Yes Sandi has left the building) and drove to the nearest McDonalds for a cup of coffee and a sausage,egg and cheese biscuit !!! Of course I had already eaten the granola bar and drank an orange juice the sleep center so generously offered to me.

Then because I wanted to stop at a few stores I had to waste some time.... I fell asleep in the van at McDonalds for at least an hour.

Well, I'm gonna try to get to sleep now. I have a backache which I also had last night which makes it hard to fall asleep.

With all this talk about hoes, porn and guns I couldn't help but think I was on set for a porn film when not only was there a camera on the ceiling across the room but above the bed there was a microphone dangling. It was right above the bed !!!
Only thing I could think of was watching old porn flicks (cheaply made ones) years ago and you'd see the huge microphone popping in and out (get your mind out of the gutter on that statement Heather) on the screen !!!
And yes I've watched a porn picture or two in my life.... It's been years though....

All this talk about spouses made me feel not so guilty about actually looking forward to getting the H3LL out of here for the night !!!! LOL Heather, you are not alone my dear friend !!!!

Ok, now I'm going to toss and turn here in my own bed.....way to many animals are sleeping in our bed these days !!! Oh and this is sad but cute. I asked ET how Cali the new dog slept without me here, He said Butt Dog and her laid by the back door all night last night waiting for me to come home. That is until he went to bed (god only knows when that was) !!!
She sure has adapted well !!!
Ok, night all, will fill in the blanks tomorrow (something Heathers Husband is not throwing.... get it blanks ?? ) LOL

The BF is trying to hatch out some of our Call eggs. He only put seven in and they all died except for two....
We need to finish coyote and fox proofing his Turkey pen soon. Buggers left his Tom turkey without any hens. Poor thing has nothing to do so he hangs out with goslings and baby turkeys.

Ok, so nobody is giving responses for poultry questions anymore ( asked more than one). Must be getting tired of being bugged by us non GURUS. Totally understand. No kitty or construction problems right now, completely boring life (I have a great hubby lets me escape any time I just need some me time without getting offended) And drug/doctor stuff all good so I'm off to the appropriate forums.

You KNOW even at 8:43 in the morning, when I read your "inner sanctum has been penetrated" I'm like WTH?! We're gonna start this show early?! Sick and wrong...

Because I'm me and the Fonz better figure it out fast on here, I already have choice words for her. Why is it I have not met you yet?! You didn't come to the mini bash at my house (some stupid reason like work or something...) Then you pull a no show Fri night and Sat at the Bash! Why... If you were my oldest I'd have taken your car keys away until you met the legendary BigFam! (Obviously part of the blame falls on BabyL for not being overbearing and micro-managing her daughter! Seriously?!) So miss Fonz, be warned you are on BigFam's radar for a meet and greet. I have yet to figure out which of Mellie's fabulous 4 is the black sheep. The other three don't seem to fit the bill, so you're it until I meet you.

There, aren't you all glad I play nice and don't try to scare off the new people?? (I'm totally making the assumption Fonz can handle her own since she IS Mel's oldest!)

I kept trying to post and ask why you guys had a duck back. But my stupid non posts got a answered anyway. Taffy looks in a sad state right now. :-( I hope she perks up real soon. She actually looks really tiny in that cage. I hope hope she didn't get hit!!! How awful!!!

I have a ton of things to do today. Today we get our first ever family pictures taken. I have to wash clothes. Apparently I have to try to find a pair of shorts for my oldest quick because I thought he had the ones I wanted but doesn't. I have to get to farm and fleet cause I need all flock bad! I have to take Shadow to his last day of training, and also get my training workshop this afternoon. I'm getting my hair done today. I have to make all 5 boys shower and then stay out of the pool. I have to find a tweezers to make sure my beard is gone from neck and chin so it doesn't look like my hubby is a gay man with 5 adopted sons. AAAAAH!! Just a sh!t load to do. I gotta get moving!

Jim-I don't seem to be having a problem burning my stump with the ash in there, but my stump is mostly at ground level. Is yours above ground? When I put it out for the evening, I always spread out the ashes to cool off the fire. I also don't think I have much ash in there. I'm actually using fireplace quality wood instead of cedar (waste of good wood, yes I know), so it is burning slower but HOT!

Bf4m-just buy some strawberries the next time you head to the grocery store and just sit in your most comfy place with your strawberries, favorite drink of choice, and ear plugs!!!!!

Well, my instincts were right...I collected a 3rd egg yesterday.

For those of you that have been chickening for years, this may not seem like anything egg-citing, but for us this is the most that we've collected at one time. Remember that we had 3 hens, but only 2 eggs from last years hens. I'll be a happy camper when all of this years hens are laying!!!!!

Concert was ok, but the Metra ride home with rich kids...torture. DH & I agreed that we need to have earphones and watch netflix next time to avoid hearing them!

Ugh...must go to work.......

That is such good news. Three eggs. Those girls will lay for a month every day and one of them will go broody in 30-50 days. Might not be a bad time to experience having your very own hatch and momma broody. Those girls will make wonderful moms. Your other girls from me will not be laying probably till October or later.
