good morning, all cuppa'd up.. have to go get feed for the small chicks..
Had the feeder covered so the chicks can't jump in and get stuck.. so what do they do ? crawl in through the bottom.. found 5 dead ones jammed in there this morning..
You just can't outsmart a chicken bent on killing himself..
had a response to my peacock ad and one for some guineas.. I am a bit leary about the peacock response.. just the wording of the response sounds bogus.. more questions about where am I than about the birds.. proceed with caution on this one..
going to burn on the stump some more this afternoon.. It is sticking up about 6 inches and is about 2 feet across.. I burnt about a third of it away in the couple of hours I spent with it yesterday. today I am going to use some nice dry white oak scraps for the fire.. I plan to have no stump left by tonight.. It is a soft maple stump,, not completely dry.. just 6 feet from the corner of the house,, Once it is gone, I will be able to plow snow better..
lots to do today,, prolly won't get anything done..
Sorry Vicki, I don't recall your chicken questions.. btw, my questions seldom get answered either.. guess we have to ask easier questions,,
