My LF chocolate orpington eggs arrived today. I have 7 total. I'm hoping for just one rooster out of them! I better get the incubator fired back up.

not sure that I agree with the USDA on this one, but in reality are there any "free range" producers anywhere that have flocks of 3,000+layers?

the picks posted show what "cage free" operations are all about, it looks like a nice operation,,,,for what it is

I do have a question for Sandi though, where are those Amish eggs marketed? under what name?,,,,just curious

We have a local Pick & Save, they have their own name brand, brown organic (?) eggs selling for around $4 that also makes me curious where they get them
