Evening All.... Congrats to all the lucky hunters and to the new grandma here! TO I have 5 grandchildren, and you can have 2 of the naughty ones with a attitude that needs adjusting. When I see them coming, I'd like to run the other way....watch what you wish for...LOL!

I'm still deerless and still hunting hard.

I love the support we give the Pack. I think Flynn shoulda played the whole game...we prolly woulda had a win.

I don't have a sealer, but I do have a commercial type 1hp grinder from Cabelas. It has a #22 size throat that never gets clogged. Not cheap, but it does a good job and gets agood workout during deer season.

We always use to buy hogs when the kids were home. We just buy whole loins and whole butts now and get the bacon from nueskes when they have sales.We just can't eat the whole hogs fast enough anymore.

Chickenship has a #22 as well-from Gander and said he loves it. He had a smaller HP and was a pain in the arse. We now have two dead things hanging in the garage....(Which I now have to avoid) he is still out every morning/evening waiting for his big buck!

Hensandroos, I hope you have good luck with the new buck. My sis knows more then me. She told me they become infertile in the heat. I never knew that! They are fun bunnies yours are the white with grey markings aren't they?

Well ammo had his first lesson on not chasing brownie! Good swirt one to the mouth. Luckily no stitches needed. He will be sore for a bit. He was sapposed to have class tonight. I talked to the trainer. She will let dozer fill in the whole fam is along for the ride tonight! Should be interesting ;-)

for those of you who make ACV- how do you keep the fruit flies away...started a jar and now have some fruit flies hanging out

Cover the jar with cheesecloth to keep them out of it.

To catch them, toss a few apple pieces into a wine or 2 liter soda bottle. They will get in, but will have a very hard time getting out, if they even can. Works every time. Then just set the bottle outside & watch the lil buggers freeze. (Insert devilish laughing smiley here).

Lookin' sharp there Cind! Nice getup! He looks like he is really enjoying himself!

I use ACV to catch fruit flies; pour a little in a jar, cover top with saran wrap and use a rubber band to keep it on the jar,use a toothpick to poke a small hole in the center of the saran wrap. Place jar near fruit, sink, wherever the fruit flies hang out, within days they will be in the jar and drown. The one way fruit fly hotel!

Everyone must be busting their bums getting ready for Thanksgiving!!!

Doing laundry here and baking a cake..... making a list of everything I need to pack..... Lisa if you have an extra doz eggs I would love to pick them up tomorrow.....

Oh come'on angiebubs...time to get out there and help with the skinning. The good o'l boy bucks are laying low...time for them to come out of hiding.....sure hope I get some venzun soon....another 9 hours in the woods today....suzie is getting tired of chores already...

Wish huntin could last another month....except for the heavy clothes chore everyday..ain't complaining, just sayin!

My bigz is quite the growler.....uuuuurrrrr....uuuurrrrrr...he is quite the boy.....are yours talkin up a storm too cuties? He's gentle, just vocal.

I'm gonna make wild turkey for thanksgiving...just seems right to me....low and slow til it falls off the bones....some folks don't like it, and that I can't understand at all...beats the store bought by ten miles.
