Hi All!
Congrats on the hatch!
Well, I lost Salt, one of the ones that was broody.
She was just fine in the afternoon when I checked on everyone (about 3:00) when I closed up at 7:30 she was about 3 ft from her nest in "submissive" position with her head stretched out, gasping for air! Looks like she threw up too. Most of the roosters are locked up but looks like the few who were out got her? Don't know what else it would be. She probably got up to eat and got nailed. Hens are a bit fragile when broody.
Guess that's it..... Night.
