good morning, I couldn't get online since early yesterday.. I really had to work at it today..
has anybody else been having problems with byc being real slow to respond to commands ?
we got the chicken coop done just as the storm blew in.. I even hosed it down all over inside..
I left the windows out to give it a good airing out.
the guineas that stopped after a good zip were probably exhausted.. those kinds I do help .
just remove the cap and whatever shell is stuck to them,, do NOT straighten out their neck.. If you do, you might just as well cull them immediately .. I could go into a long explanation why, but for now, just take my word for it..
Dora is properly bred,, usually, if a dog does the deed just once, it is enough.. I am sure Gus had his fair share of deeds.. Now Dora will have nothing to do with Gus, so that is another indication that she is not in heat anymore, and most likely well bred....
gives a new meaning to well bred, eh?
the main pin fell off of the tractor loader.. one of the two that hold the loader frame onto the tractor rear axle housing.. It looks like I will have to dis-assemble half the loader frame to get that pin back in..
It was a good thing that we were just one bucket load, (10 wheelbarrows) from finished..
Dan finished the coop cleaning with the wheelbarrow..
we took 5 bucketfuls to the new compost pile.. I have a nice pile of manure to spread onto the garden this fall..
It is close enough to the garden, so that if the bucket won't be working, I can use the back blade to spread it.
Ang, leave that poor cluck alone..
I have four confirmed clucks in the coop.. they all really put up a squawk when I took them off the nests to toss new wood fibers in.. none of them have any eggs.. and they are too skinny to butcher.. Annie's grandma used to call them freeloaders..
having a memorial/lunch for Barby's husband at 11 AM today..
I guess I should at least shave for it..
