And I got 3 eggs today.

I got the bathroom re-tiled this weekend. It is drying overnight and I'll put caulk on tomorrow.

CC, good to hear from you again.

Not much else going on here.

Why would someone waste their own time (let alone yours), to call you and ask for you to gather up a bunch of birds, and then not show up? I don't get it. That must be some kind of sickness.
Or a really bored kid in desperate need of a paddling?

Or more accurately, some supervision. I hope I never meet anyone who would do something like that. I don't get it either. What's the purpose?

Good game today.

cuties, I hope your kitties won't get like that either. Mine was just a mutt. I am sure they will get used to the vacuum in no time. They are just a little overwhelmed with everything being new right now. Before you know it, they will be all settled in. Can't wait to see some pics.

Had a Siamese cat. Unlike any cat we have had since. Did not have her fixed until after her 1st litter. Farmer wanted them for barn cats. about 4 months latter when we saw him............all Siamese killed. They kept leaping at him & attacking from the rafters. Not a one in our house that didn't have a bite or scratch mark from our Siamese. Loved that cat for nothing else it cleaned the clock of any dog dumb enough to come into our yard.

I hope you get tamer version than ours.

Sounds like you've had bad experiences with meezers. The vast majority are not angry, scratchy cats. Every Siamese I've met has been loving, noisy though. There are bad eggs within every breed, but. breed traits for Siamese include being affectionate and vocal. Any cat that isn't well socialized from early kittenhood can turn out a bit less friendly to people though.

My current cat is a Siamese. Tonks is fully clawed and has excellent claw manners. Even if she gets scared and is riding on your shoulders at the time, she doesn't hook into you. She's never scratched anyone, nor has she ever scratched the dogs. She's never bitten, either. Her only annoying habit is sometimes she'll start licking you in the middle of the night, and that tongue is kind of scratchy. Also she is vocal like a Siamese and must be firmly affixed to the nearest human so as to maximize the amount of attention she is getting. She even adores strangers, and makes instant friends with anyone who will tolerate her.

Bad experience? Best cat we ever had! Well socialized? Family of 6, not like it was left in a kennel by itself. Snoopy ( our Siamese ) v.s.
grandmas spoiled poodle......priceless!

To this day I need very little room when sleeping. Snoop always slept on my bed. If you disturbed her you were bitten. Purred like a mac truck.

Have had a lot of good mousers since snoop, none that matched her character. Meezers????

This one is Mesha. She had s the one that is a little more shy. But still doing well.

They are both very vocal about their growling and hissing! I am sure once they are comfortable they will turn that nto the siamese talking.

I was running late this morning and while opening the coop heard a bunch of "attempted" crowing!! Found this odd as my cockerels aren't even 3 months old yet. Then I realized the cockerels were all by me-it was an older black hen!!!! Then by my feet I heard some/one of the cockerels trying too! WTH? LOL I will have to check this out when its lighter out and i have more time
