Moved nest box & broody OE to meat coop with other broodies. Its a broiler coop....well ventilated. I have 6" gap between wall & roof. Of course the OE has decided to leave her eggs and go back to layers coop and sit in empty nest box. I'm not sure what time she "flew the coop". Take the eggs out of the nest....or leave under her?

if she refuses to follow the eggs, then put them under her where she chooses to sit..

Long day for me, STILL no nap and not going to get one today either..... but it was so nice to see Cuties, Jim and Irish this morning!!!!

All I want to do is sit down and relax with a glass of wine (probably not the best for this cough but right now I do not care), but of course I volunteered to head down to the theater where Prom is held tonight to take pics. Apparently the kids have decorated the place to look like the Prom held in the original movie of Footloose. Then there is the issue of the roo hiding out in my garage. He needs to be transported to his new digs tonight once it gets dark. Cuties, I decided to just treat all the birds for mites since it has never been done and they probably all have some.

No Sebbies at this swap, I do not think I have ever seen any sebbies except pictures. There was one Call Drake that sold within a minute of the guy getting it out of his truck.

That is not a bad idea for your friend Miss. Be sure they retreat in two weeks. The hen I got for my friend is totally seperate from everybody. And willnstay here seperate until she gets her second treatment
I almost fell asleep. Then the kids came in!!
we are taking a trip to visit sis tomorrow! I can't wait.

Yeah, the best laid plans......

Rooster escaped in the garage, so we had the chase the roo session in the garage for a bit. Poor little roo sure had a rough day today! He was a little beaten up after his romp through all the chainsaws, lawn mowers, car jacks, weed whackers, etc etc etc...... but we bagged him and brought him over to his new home. Fingers crossed he does not have a rough morning tomorrow! I hope he did not eat anything he should not have while roaming free in the garage!


Relaxing for 5 minutes before I have to head downtown to shoot pics.

Hope everyone got something done today (Sat.) I scavenged all the wood that I thought would fit in the stove, splitter is still down and the nights still get cold.
